Not what I expected for $600
Bought this in the middle of February '18 and it's not worked correctly since I got it. After first plugging it in and updating to current firmware, I found out that I had to wait for Powerteq to create a configuration file for my vehicle. That was on a Thursday, didn't get the file till the following Tuesday. Then after thinking that it was ready for the first tune, I used the Diablo tune that came with it, seemed to be loading okay at first then the screen went dark while loading the tune . . . restarted the tuner, but didn't know if the tune took or not. Ran the car (2017 Corvette Grand Sport) a few miles, didn't notice any difference so after a few nervous min's decided I'd better reload the stock tune. That appeared to work, but the screen continued to go blank while in use. I'm usually very patient with tech support but this guy sounded like I was bothering him, he walked me through resetting the device and tried to end the call saying "that should do it". I told him I'd feel better if we try it at the car again just to make sure that was the issue, reconnect to the car and it's still happening. I tried to tell him that it was happening during tunes as well and then he got snippy and told me that was a separate issue and then acted like he was confused about which issue I wanted him to troubleshoot . . . ah, same issue, blank screen . . . ugh! His attitude during the whole call was condescending and unprofessional. In the end, he said that his tech's told him that other owners of my make and model were having similar issues, I uploaded some files and emailed them to him, he said they would contact me when they had a fix . . . still waiting. Now with all that said, I'll say that most new products have their issues, so I'm trying to be understanding about this so far. However, just tooling around with this thing, I can tell you the CPU is underpowered for the application (slow), the graphics tear between screens, and then of course the dependency on Powerteq, not diggin' that at all. For $600, you'd expect better quality, and better Tech Support. If I had to do it over knowing what I know, I'd went with a different product.

Not worth it.
Bought tuner then had to buy $40 pcm unlock and still can't get it to work. I'm so frustrated I wasted almost $700.

Big issues
Doesn't do alot of what's promised. I just unhooked it and problt give it away to someone. Worthless.

EX / MX, make sure you know what you want and the capabilities of both.
The bad: Knowing a little about cars and the comms within I felt mislead about what this tool could do. I was under the impression all PID's were visible and adjustable, not the case. The T-1000, if they still make, is basically the same exact tool as the EX and you will get the same desired tuning capabilities. The only advantage to this model is you can purchase additional licenses and tune multiple vehicles on one machine. I already have two T-1000 for this reason, wish they had this option earlier. The Good: Okay, I can't give the entire product a bad review. If you want a nice interface for ONLY performance and monitoring get the MX. No doubt it's a stunning piece of equipment with an excellent display and options.

Used products for new prices. Also errors making it useless.
This seller is selling USED tuners. I will be returning this asap. I keep getting errors and having to reset it. Plus when I plug it into a computer I can see files from a Ford........ I own a Chevy so yeah this is not New as stated.
