Great slicer for the price
Everything new in the box. Operation is simple and works flawlessly. Is it industrial grade? No. It's not supposed to be. I've been using it to slice steak -london broil- and works famously. Clean up is fairly easy. Very satisified with it.

Great quality
I bought this professional grade ( in my opinion ) slicer so I could make consistent beef jerky on my smoker. I have used a less expensive slicer but found it didn't slice as neatly as desired. This unit has very fine adjustments for thickness, and while I have only used it for my jerky, think it will lend itself well to poultry / pork / cheese and other things. Please note: the blade is VERY sharp and will cut you when cleaning the unit. Also, I recommend cleaning the unit after each use, and not waiting until the next day when you have more dishes - I made that mistake and the dried on fat was a pain to get off the blade ! Cleaning takes a bit of effort as you have to disassemble the blade / guard / feed assemblies, but it is worth the effort to have a slicer that works beautifully - the uniformity of the jerky slices is superb !

Do not use for frozen meat
I bought this for slicing thin shabu-shabu meat. I didn’t read the reviews carefully and just bought the one ChatGPT recommended, but considering the price, it’s usable. However, since shabu-shabu meat is thin, I assumed it had to be frozen before slicing. But after reading the manual, I found out that frozen products are not allowed. So I had to thaw the meat before using it. Some parts of the meat were thawed, while others were still slightly frozen, and the result was a mess. Now I understand why frozen meat shouldn’t be used. When the blade hits frozen meat, the surface doesn’t stay in contact properly, and the machine doesn’t seem to be strong enough to handle it. If you must use frozen meat, it should be only very slightly frozen. Also, the blade and the plate are not perfectly aligned. Since I’m just using it casually at home, the uneven thickness of the meat isn’t a huge issue, but it definitely doesn’t slice beautifully or evenly. When I set it to 1–2 mm, it didn’t cut anything at all. When I changed it to 4–5 mm, I finally got thin slices of meat. That might also be because the meat wasn’t fully thawed. One more thing that really annoyed my husband was the grease (lubricant) on the blade. No matter how many times we washed it with detergent, it kept coming off. Since I’m pregnant, he was worried I might ingest it, so he washed and dried it multiple times. While we understand the lubricant is necessary, it’s very difficult to clean off. Overall, I didn’t expect much, but for casual home use, it’s not too bad. It seems like it would slice things like ham quite cleanly.

Excellent Food Slicer, Excellent Customer Service
For many years, I have been using 7.5in electric meat slicers that are less than 200W, made cheaply and constantly finding ways to repair them, but surprisingly, they did the job. Now with this 10in – 240W VEVOR Commercial Electric Slicer, slicing food and meat is a whole lot easier. At this point, I have sliced roast, homemade deli style meat, summer sausage, bacon and bread. This VEVOR slicer does a very good job. The only minor issues that I have is with cleanup. There is a spot where the food holder fastens to the sliding carriage that is a little hard to clean. The other issue deals with cleaning the cutting blade because you really need to remove the blade for it to be cleaned properly. The blade removal is a hassle in that you have to use a hex driver (that is not provided) to remove three screws that hold the blade in place. Also, handling the blade can be tricky, but it can be done. There are two tapped holes in the blade assembly that I put bolts (bolts not provided) into so I can handle the blade safely and easily. I was interested in seeing if there were any accessories or digital documents for this meat slicer, so I visited the VEVOR website. There were no accessories or documents. I contacted their customer service and they really provide service. They did not have any document on hand but they sent me a copy of the user’s manual, which they either scanned or had access to. It comes with a user’s manual, but I seem to misplace manuals all the time, so I try to digital copies of manuals on my PC. VEVOR customer service goes out of its way to help their customers. As far as price goes I got mine before they increased the price and got a deal. I got a feeling that they increased the price because of shipping costs for this heavy and large slicer. I did notice VEVOR website gives a price break for registering the product, when it is purchased from them directly. Here is the review ranking basis that I have adopted: ⭐️1 star - I don't recommend it at all, poor quality. ⭐️⭐️ 2 stars - I don't recommend it, it has multiple faults. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 stars - It's passable, It has some faults but the quality is ok for what it is. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 stars - Product quite acceptable, it does what it promises. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars - Product that I totally recommend.

I love this meat slicer!
I absolutely love this product. It's easy to use and has great safety features. It cuts amazing and is very durable. The blade is a perfect size. It is a little tough to clean but not impossible. Thankfully there's videos posted that you can watch that guide you through the process.

No replacement blades
Decent machine, but be careful if you need replacement parts. I have used both machines advertised here. Both the manual one and the fully automatic. I need a replacement blade. I contacted customer service, they made me prove that I purchased a machine before they would even answer a question. Once I provided them the proof they told me they didn't know if there were replacement blades or not. The answer had poor grammar and broken English. I assumed English was not their first language and there could be a misunderstanding so I asked it again. Again they told me they did not know about replacement parts. I pushed again. They said they contacted their supplier and the supplier stated replacement blades could be purchased online. I let them know I could not find a replacement and asked them to please provide a model number or specific information to replace it. I let them know there are a lot of replacement blades that looks similar but none of them say they are compatible with their machine. They said they just don't know. I've asked this question five times in five different ways. Every answer is they cannot assist with replacement parts and don't know if there's a blade to replace it. If your machine works perfectly and never has problems it's a good value. If you buy a $1,300 machine and need areplacement blade at some point you are in trouble. God forbid there is any other damage to the machine. I would caution anybody against buying the automatic version. If there's a problem, you will struggle to get it fixed. On the cheaper $300 model it's less of an issue, as you can throw it away and buy another one. The $1300 model is a whole different story.

Great value
Worked great. Have only used it once to slice 15 pounds of bacon and it handled it with ease. Easy to disassemble and clean as well. Highly recommend.

Strong motor, but difficult to control with large cuts of meat
The VEVOR Commercial Meat Slicer is made with sturdy materials and has a powerful 240W motor paired with a sharp 10-inch chromium-plated steel blade. On paper, it looks like a great option for both home and commercial use, and it does handle frozen meat better than many basic slicers. However, in actual use, slicing feels somewhat labor-intensive and not very easy to control, especially when the meat pieces are large or thick. I’m not sure if the issue is the size or shape of the meat, but the slicer does not glide as smoothly as expected. It seems to work better only after the meat is cut into smaller portions first, which makes the whole process more inconvenient and time-consuming. Overall, the machine has decent power and build quality, but the lack of smooth control and the need for extra prep reduce its practicality. It may work better for users who don’t mind pre-cutting meat, but for quick and effortless slicing, it falls a bit short of expectations.
