After 109 years of waiting, Great Britain finally clinched its greatest ever sporting achievement - a debut victory in the Tour de France - with a poise and collective domination by its number one squad, Team Sky, rarely, if ever, matched in the races hallowed annals. Mutton-chopped Londoner Bradley Wiggins, 32, and his blue-clad Sky troops brushed aside everything the Tour could throw at him: brutal first week crashes, relentless media pressure, hooligans sabotaging the roads with nails and flares, mammoth time trials and infernal Alpine and Pyrenean mountain stages. Not to mention the threat of treason from within the ranks of Sky itself...

Sir Wiggo has long been a favorite of mine and at one time I had every stage of the ITV 2012 Tour coverage on my MacBook, but that took up a lot of space. These discs had been on my wish list for quite some time and the price just could no longer be beat. Plus from what I gather World Cycling Productions no longer exists, which had they not focused on Lance so much and realized there are other races other than the Tour they'd be around.I digress, this race was fantastic and I'm enjoying re-watching it. It truly was a British Tour given Wiggo's success, Cav & David Millar!

Excellent Tour!
This is an excellent tour marked by the first Brit to win. I had a number of DVDs by World Cycling Productions. Shame the company went out of business. Now there is no other company out there producing such videos. If you are in to collecting DVDs of the Tour de France, this is definitely one i would recommend.

I spent a few weeks watching this DVD in the basement while spinning on a trainer. They picked the best moments - just as I remember them when I watched it live - Froome dropping Wiggins, Wiggins leading the peloton to the bunch sprint, Cavendish bringing water bottles to his team. Classic! All the pre-stage specials they had are pretty interesting too.

Great coverage lots of hours of inspirational viewing
Riding the rollers in winter is boring..... I used to watch old movies until a decade ago when multi-hour DVDs of bike races came out. It is much more interesting to ride the rollers watching Bradley Wiggins and others as they race. When they sprint, I sprint, but somehow, I'm always caught at the line.

Go Wiggo!
Great DVD, I missed the race when it was first broadcast so it was great to get all that bonus coverage.

Glad I got this!
So much fun to have this material on hand either to watch while on the trainer, or to keep me pumped up for the rides that I will be doing.
