Mandy by Julie Andrews Edwards (1989-04-04) Paperback

This is Julie Andrews' first book. It is the lovely story of a young girl growing up in an orphanage who finds her own special spot on the estate next door. Ms. Andrews writes it in a way that draws the reader in to Mandy's experience and emotions. You can almost hear her reading it. It's really a lovely story.

This book arrived when promised and is in beautiful condition, better than I expected. It is a gift for my niece and had been a favorite of my daughter’s. I wasn’t sure about buying her a used book, but I couldn’t find it new. Thank you so much for the gift worthy condition!

I have always loved Julie Andrews and this book did not disappoint. This book is one that my grandchildren read or in some cases depending on their ages I read to them. What a beautiful book. I also recommend the tapes as you can listen along to Julie. A classic. Love

I grew up with Mandy as one of my favorite books, and both of these tales were delightful. I love it just as much now as I did a decade ago.

A wonderful book. So glad I purchased it. So many familiar writings so graciously and wonderfully delivered by Mrs. Edwards and her daughter. A treasure to be sure.

Very disappointed with the condition of this book. It looks like it’s an old library book and has stickers all over it which it did not show in the selling image. At almost £13 for a very tatty paperback book I feel robbed !!
