Perfect in a pinch.
Great product. Cut back a bit on the water they call for. Served 2 packs with good EVO,a dash of H20 and small halved baby tomatoes…you’ve got a flavorful and nutritious meal. A green salad and wine optional. Perfect when there is nothing defrosted for dinner.

Great pasta sauce
We have used this creamy pesto sauce for a few years now. It makes a great pasta sauce! This is one of my son's favorite dishes to eat. The quality is always consistently good, and I'm thankful that the expiration date is always extended at least 6 months to a year to allow me plenty of time to use the packets.

Soooo creamy and delicious
FINALLY!!! I haven’t been able to find this one in so long. The one with butter and milk is way better than the “creamy pesto” that calls for olive oil

Too thin and bland for pasta
The taste is good if you drink it alone like a soup, but it is too bland and too thin when mixed with pasta. When mixed with water and oil it is very thin, not like normal home-made pesto, it won't coat noodles well and it is too weak tasting to flavor the noodles well. It might be good for some sauces in some recipes when mixed with other strong flavors. Maybe I'll try using less or no water next time, it says to add 6 oz water and 2 oz olive oil, but 1 or 2 oz of water and 2 oz olive oil might be the limit for added liquid unless you're using it as a drink or soup. Imagine mixing 1 Tablespoon of fresh pesto with 6 oz of water and you get the idea of the consistency of this sauce when made according to its instructions.
