i bought this mainly for squats but i saw you could use this for back extensions too by adjusting the angle of the large large, so i thought i'd save money not having to buy a separate piece of equipment.for squats its does its job, the top of the leg pad is a bit wide not allowing me to do a full squat which isn't a big deal. the foot pad could use the ability to move back and forward(its only up and down on a pivot 0-45 degrees roughly) to allow a more comfortable foot position, this could also allow users to do nordic curls, its doesn't give enough space to get your foot in as it is currently.i'm about 5'10" and the lowest part of the pad is slightly above my knee on the highest setting for back extensions, its not very comfortable on the knee but i can use it, if you're taller then it won't work as ideally the pad should be on the upper thigh, if the large pad bar was a bit longer it would be better.i use resistance loop bands which can be hooked onto small metal loops near the front which also allow me to use the front edge for calf raises with the bands, for back extensions i wrap the bands around the push up handles.it was well packaged but there was some damage to the large pad leather, costway responded quickly to my message and gave me a partial refund.
