Modern joy with a antique spin
I unboxed it very simple to put the propeller on one shear pin and a washer and a nut the prop is large the thing could be used to keep yourself cool as a cooling fan on your camping trips when hot as a second option. It has forward and reverse and I think it will be perfect for my "FEELFREE "MOKEN" Brand Kayak along with my paddle. I will be able to move forward and back with ease of a hand cranked motor quality is awesome mindful of an antique out of the 1920s called the ropeller outboard. Love it thanks.

Broke in less than 2 minutes.
I purchase this in December and just took it to the water 1 week ago. The gears stripped and locked up during the first 2 minutes of usage. I have contacted the company to see what they will do about it. Maybe I just got a defective one, I will update this once I get one to try.Update 3/20/18 The company sent me a new one so I don't want to give them negative review until I use this one. So I changed my review to 3 stars, assuming this one works, once I try I out I will update it again if warranted.

Delivered with surface rust on the chrome finish
Delivered as promised and a little early. Which is nice. However, the finish has surface rust on it like it has been sitting in a humid place for a long time in the box/Styrofoam. Also, the product is a little rough on the finished parts. Looks like not too much final care was put into the product before boxed up. It is made in China, so that may have something to do with the quality. I am glad I paid for this with credit card points. Because for $65, I would have been disappointed with the finished product. I gave it a 2 rating as I have not tried it out yet. I will update with a lower or higher number once I try it out.

Junk
I pity the person who takes this onto the lake. Don't get the idea that this will help you in an emergency. The "steering" situation is ridiculous. You're better off rowing.

Conversation piece.
Its European backwards. Works ok in calm water. Not easy to change direction when trying to turn.

Good stroller. Could turn better
