Sugar and Sin Paperback – 30 Aug. 2007

This is the first in Stella and Audra Price's Eververse series. It centers around Fallon and Astrid, one seriously hot thief and his one time girlfriend. Whilst introducing other Eververse characters and the world of the Eververse itself. I love the way that Stella and Audra take their characters from traditionally shunned "Bad" guys proving that sometimes the wicked characters need a little love too. Fallon and Astrid are so amazing together that it really makes me wish I had a Fallon or a Feyd (Fallon's partner accomplice) all of my own. Their world is so complex containing Demons, Witches, Were-Snakes, Human assassins, Djinn and everything else you can think of. If you're a fan of strong women and have a soft spot for dark wicked men this one is one for you.I can't wait to read more from these up and coming authors as I'm now totally hooked. Their writing is far from the flat formulaic style that I seem to see cropping up all over the urban fantasy scene recently. They are definitely one to keep an eye on for the future. I wish I'd bought both this and Silk and Steel (the next book in the series) in one go so I didn't have so long to wait between books. I'm eagerly awaiting the third installment, Frost and Flame, as I hear its Demon exile Cash's book. YAY!
