All the pros are in the headline. For me they more then outweigh the two cons. Don't overthink the electrical specs, this power supply works fine for the S9. For those who care to know, the Voltage specs must match and they do. The Amperage and Wattage ratings of a replacement must meet or exceed the connected load and in this case they exceed by a bit more then the original.Con1: Both cord segments are shorter then the original. However, the detachable AC cord from the original is compatible with this replacement. So if the original detachable cord is still good use instead to gain back a couple of feet.Con2: The 3-pin adapter plug on the device end of the DC cord is straight rather then right-angled thereby requiring a bit of extra clearance in the back or the unit where it plugs in.

Saved us from buying a new Cpap machine!
My hubby’s old cpap kept cutting out or was hard to start. Seemed like it may have had a short someplace. Took a chance and replaced the power cord with this one hoping that would solve the problem rather than spending a grand or more on a new machine. Worked like a champ!! Highly recommend.

Perfect replacement adapter!
My Resmed S9 adapter started shorting out. Then it completely broke. This adapter came quickly as I already had to sleep terribly for 2 nights without it. This new one is much lighter and works perfectly. Actually my cpap machine is now silent as it once was! Wonder how long the original one was not working right. Don’t pay any higher than this for a replacement! Highly recommend!

FYI it comes with the cord that plugs into the wall. We didn't know that as it isn't pictured and ordered a separate cord. It is a great replacement and much more affordable than what the medical supply and doctors office was going to charge.

Works as described and much more affordable than buying one through a Medical Store
The original adapter that came with my IPX1 ResMed S9 broke during travel (frayed wire) so I needed to get a new one. I went through a medical supplier and they quoted me $135 with a 2-3 week turnaround. Since I was traveling in a few days, I searched on Amazon for a replacement and found this one.I've been using it for the past 2-3 months and haven't had any issues. The adapter itself is slightly smaller than the one that came with my CPAP (more luggage space!) though the cord length is slightly shorter.
