Better than the original nozzle
The original nozzle was always a bit difficult to pull off of both volve types. This new nozzle is a bit easier, especially on the Schrader valve

Fits Nashbar Big Red Pump Hose
My old Nashbar pump couldn't hold a presta seal after nearly 15 years of use. I looked for a new pump and saw nice ones for nearly 100 big ones. I was like... okay, let's just find a easy cheap fix. I compared my pump head and the picture matched exactly.Despite this, what I received did not match the picture on amazon, but it still fits my pump perfectly! Now I can pump my tires without having the pump head blow off since my seal is brand new. So happy I saved a bunch of money!

Exact Replacement for UltraCycle THRUST Pump
I have an UltraCycle THRUST floor pump with gauge - about 4-5 years old. This replacement pump head is EXACTY THE SAME pump head as originally supplied on my THRUST pump. Very easy replacement. I've only tested the new head once, but so far OK. So, if you need a new pump head for your kinda-old UltraCycle THRUST pump, this is the direct, original part replacement!

Restored an Old PFP-3 Home Mechanic Bike Pump (circa 2003)
After 18 years of using my Park Tool PFP-3 Home Mechanic Bike Pump (purchased in 2003), the pump head finally wore out (the pin holding the lever to the pump head would no longer stay in place because of wear on the plastic, and continually fell out while pumping up a tire). I was very happy to find on Park Tool's website a rebuild kit option despite this model of bike pump being discontinued several years ago - that is the sign of a quality company with quality products meant to last. This rebuild kit has given new life to my PFP-3 pump and works just as well if not better than the original parts (the pump head design is slightly improved for presta and shrader valves). This bike pump has more than paid for itself and here's hoping I get another 18 (or more) years! Thanks, Park Tool!

Fits some other name brands of floor pumps.
It has a threaded insert fitting that will sometimes intermingle with other brands of pump. I’ve used it on many customers pumps to get them running again because Parks insert diameter works with a lot of other floor pump hoses as well.

It is what it is
I imagine if you are a satisfied owner of a Park Tool Pump PFP-3 which is in need of a these replacement parts you will be happy with this rebuild kit. I had a Bell Airstrike 2100 that was leaking like crazy from the pump-head when I used it. Looking at the picture I assumed the Park Tool head would fit the hose of my Bell pump, and I was right, it did fit, and it does work without leaking like my malfunctioning original pump head. There is a couple of differences between the pump heads though. The original Bell pump-head seemed to be be better designed, externally, at least, than this Park Tool replacement pump head.My Bell pump-head engage/disengage-lever is slightly shorter than the Park Tool pump-head. My Bell pump-head lever works in the opposite way of the Park Tool pump-head. That is (with the Bell) you attach the head to the valve, push the lever down, pump, pull lever up, detach pump from valve. With the Park Tool you attach the head to the valve, pull lever up, pump, push lever down, detach pump from valve. This is no real big problem really but might contribute somewhat to the following, which is my biggest negative: When pulling/pushing the lever it has quite a bit of resistance and then a quick "snap" that can painfully hit the fingers. I've gotten "bit" while trying to gently disengage the head in a way so as not to put undue stress on the valve stem (especially the presta type stems). This wacking-the-fingers issue can be eliminated, I'm sure, by developing a workable technique, its just not 100% user friendly.

exact match for my pump
I have an Innovations Top Dog pump and this pump head is the *exact* one for it, so Innovations was using Park parts. Actually, there's another similar pump head on Amazon but with a chrome (mini) handle and different gaskets. The original pump head on my pump has a chrome handle but that's irrelevant since black or chrome is only cosmetic. This product is the less-expensive version which is surely because it comes with a single small gasket ring instead of more gasket but I'm not replacing any plunger or other rings on my pump and I don't know which version of gasket rings the Top Dog utilizes (if any).My only disappointment is that I might not have needed the pump head. I had tried the old one on three tubes and none would take air. After putting on the new pump head, I have almost the same experience. On these particular road bike tubes, the screw in the stems could not be unscrewed very far or else no air could come in. I've never had an experience like this with more than one tube so I was dumb and didn't catch it that the tube stems were likely the problems (and not the pump head). I was repairing one tube (that was currently in service) and I grabbed a couple old, long-ago flatted tubes and tried to put air in them. In order to repair all these tubes, each had to have the stem unscrewed just the right amount to get air in - not too much and not too little. Frustrating.
