I would give more than 5 stars if I could because we LOVE this hat. It really gives such good coverage. It repels water well so my child wears it in the pool. It worked well at the beach on windy days too. The strap that tightens was perfect for keeping it on well. Really love the open spot for a ponytail and it is in a good spot so you don't have to do such a low ponytail. The colors are beautiful and vibrant. It's lightweight and comfortable and a great price. It's just perfect in every way! Highly recommend!

Really cute and great quality hat. It gives a lot of protection, it's comfortable, and easy to adjust to the size of your child's head. It's thin from the top and thick at the bottom. Also keeps it's shape well even after washing it.

The two ways to adjust at the chin and behind the head is unbeatable for littles. Also less sunscreen equals less parental nightmares. Very cute and decently good quality. Survived both the ocean and pool. I am a woman and I tried it on because I was concerned my kid being taller/bigger head for their age might not work and it fit me barely, so room to grow too.

Cons: The brim is quite wide, which is great for sun protection, but it sometimes gets in the way when my kids lean down to look closely at plants. Plus, it’s easy to clean after a day of getting dirty outside—just a quick hand wash and it’s good as new.

This little hat was the best purchase I made for a recent beach vacation! My daughter wore it daily in the pool and ocean! The strap under her chin was comfy and kept it from being blown away. The colors matched her swim suits well, but most importantly it kept her from getting burnt on her face, ears, neck and head! It had upf 50 and it worked! Also, it has a ponytail hole so her hair could go through. Adults kept complimenting how cute she looked and how they wished it came in an adult size! It dried extremely fast and was always ready for the next day. It stayed clean and is washable in the washer if needed. After running through a load of laundry, I let it air dry and it was still good as new. I would buy this over and over if needed!

I love this hat for my 4 year old. The hat feels lightweight and breathable. It dried quickly and gave great sun coverage while we were at the beach. We were able to loosen the strap that went around his chin while playing in the sand or at the shore and tighten it up a bit when we took him further into the water so waves didn’t wash it away. My son wore this hat willingly and it functioned as expected.

My daughter loves this hat. It's lightweight, dries easily/quickly, and it's a unicorn design, so obviously she loves it. The only thing I would suggest foe improvements would be the clip that holds the strap. It's currently a plastic s hook and sometimes it comes undone. I think longevity and safety would both be improved by switching to a quick release buckle (one of the ones that releases if it is pulled too much). Those are a great feature on other hats we have had for kiddos.

It is too small for my 5 year old. Given it's sized up to 9 years, and I also measured and she was within the stated range, or really runs small
