Perfect Remedy Ice Packs for Injuries (Regular) - 2 Hot Cold Compress Gel Packs and 1 Velcro Wrap

I can't say enough good things about these gel ice packs! The hook/loop closure ("Velcro" to all of us laypersons) sticks really well to the fleecy surface of the gel pack cover, and the elastic band is plenty wide enough to be comfortable if it's wrapped around ankle/knee. I bought these to use post-surgically instead of an ice water recirculator thingy (I am certain that's the technical name of the doohickey my orthopedist's clinic wanted to sell to me following my ankle tendon repairs). I'm very satisfied with the cooling time - about 20 minutes is all they last before needing frozen again... coincidentally enough, that's the maximum amount of time one should apply ice in any given session to avoid frostbite-like skin injury! I also appreciate the flexibility of the gel packs when frozen, and they are certainly more portable than a cooler with tubes running every which way when you're on crutches.

I'm very pleased with this product. I've been using the packs mainly to help with muscle pain in my lower back. I like to take them out of the pack and wrap them in a thin cloth to do this, but the cover and strap looks like it would be great if you wanted to strap it to your shoulder or leg. They're very malleable and retain heat well so they're quite comfortable to lie down on for a while and do a great job of alleviating the muscle tightness.It's often pretty hot where I live so I've also found that when it's uncomfortably hot out I like to chill a pack for a little while, wrap it in a paper towel and lie down with it on the back of my neck. It's pretty darn flexible cold too so it's a great way to beat the heat.I'm very happy with these so far, from my experience they seem like they'd also be great for inflammation. I can tell I'll probably get a lot of use out of these over the years and definitely recommend them.

I really like the fact that I can actually "wrap" the ice pack where I need to. It's pretty difficult to hold an ice pack in place on your ankle. The only issue I had was that the packs didn't stay cold long. I'm not sure if this type of gel ever actually hardens or stays in a gel-like state.

I got this in May and have been using it daily for three months now ( rehab new knee). It does a good job of cooling the knee. Stays cold for about 20 minutes. I am satisfied. Holds snug to my leg so I can walk around while wearing it. Customer service is EXCELLENT ! The Velcro strap was stretching a bit on mine ( i think because I was using it everyday) so I wrote them and they sent out a new one the next day...no stress no mess!

I'm thrilled with this ice pack set. It does exactly what it was meant to do and the materials appear to be of high quality. What's great about this design is that you can strap this thing almost anywhere and it's actually comfortable to wear. It's also incredibly easy to use and maintain.I've had carpal tunnel issues for some time, and any time I feel any pain creep up one of my wrists, I slap one of these cold packs on whichever wrist hurts, and voila, the pain quickly abates.I highly recommend this set. It's... the perfect remedy.

Best ice packs ever! I have purchased this product twice and will be purchasing again for gifts. The design and size is just right! I love the elastic strap with Velcro that really holds even when used during activities. The fabric is very soft yet durable and well made. One of my best purchases on Amazon!

Gel doesn't conform as others I've had. They don't seem to stay cold or get very cold. A cvs brand is better.and cheaper.

My husband just had bilateral knee replacement. I ordered two sets of gel packs and I intially I was very happy with them. However, after only several days of use, one of the gel packs started to leak. I gave this product 4 stars because the other 3 gel packs seem to be ok. I also like the Velcro strap that holds them in place. I hope the other 3 don't start to leak too.
