We bought this build for the light beside the front door, infra-red really helps the camera for the front if the house, being able to schedule it from the app is great, also allows you to set the build to different colours and set effects which look amazing (or you can just choose from a range of whites if you want to!)

I have dozens of smart devices and this is my first Lifx bulb. Everything is fine, it's super bright, good colors but it disconnects from the network after ~1h and stays unresponsive until restarted; I don't want to try troubleshooting a 60 euro bulb where 15 euro ones just work out of the box.shame

I have several of these bulbs around the house this works well with a great selection of colours and whites..took bit of time connecting to the WiFi I now can control light through the app which is great

These are great bulbs and we have about 11 around house, colours and whites are exceptional.But, they are expensive and I do question if the price is worth the extra brightness, colour etc - there are good one's available for a lot less.Not always easy to set up and one gripe is after a power cut they all come on - surely they could be set to remember last state.
