Impressive
Great toy, my daughter loves it. Only bad thing is battery life. Takes about an hour to charge and has about 15 min of play time with a full charge. This toy was well worth it though.

Very Cute & small easy to carry
Very cute! Didn’t work well in crowd of Christmas, but to be expected when conversations going on all around us. Couldn’t really get to follow commands, but worked well in more quiet atmosphere when us “grandparents” tried it out getting charged & making sure worked, before wrapping. Anxious for grandson to get him home & see him really work

Defective pieces doing rounds in the market circuit.
The media could not be loaded. I am sure the Chimp is very good but unfortunately many defective pieces are doing rounds in the market circuit. The opening of the and first use was totally disappointing. The lovely chimp did nothing but lying prone with colored lights in the eyes blinking. It was making weird and monkey like sounds all right but the toy is supposed to more than that. We promptly returned that and got a refund. What is more , we purchased subsequently another piece through Walmart and even that is found defective in the sense it is not able to stand up, much less walk.We are thinking of returning that also. But we are determined to find and own a good working model because we like the toy. The enclosed video was taken when the Chimp was placed on a carpet. Same thing happened when it was placed on a wooden floor.

Zoomer Chimp - Interactive fun in a technically advanced prov
Our family received a zoomer chimp for free for evaluation from spin master about a week ago and our family has been having a good time so far playing and interacting with the zoomer chimp. We have a 13 year old girl who did most of the play testing, with myself and my wife joining in on the fun as well. All in all, we have found it to be an interesting and technologically advanced toy that is based on interactive play patterns. So far we've explored all of the different modes and find that voice command mode tends to be the most fun. In voice command, you can press the top of his head and wait till his eyes light up purple. After that, you can give him a variety of different commands which are easily referenced on a small card that comes in the packaging with the instructions. By far the most popular is the command "go bananas". In this mode, he will do a variety of different things that will show off his wild side, including standing up and screaming while he moves in a circle. Occasionally he may get unruly though and you might find yourself with a giant monkey butt in your face or a simulated fart noise, followed by him rolling with laughter on his back. In guard mode he'll get vicious, and attack whatever he sees in front of him his eyes will turn red and he'll charge forward. This can be a lot of fun to scare somebody from around the corner just put sooner chimp in guard mode. Wait for them to walk by and Rarrr! chimp attack!!! In Chimp talk mode, if you say something to him then he will talk in a chimp voice back to you. There's also follow me mode, where zoomer chimp uses his visual sensors to sense you in front of him. You can do this either with your foot by walking backwards works best, or if you want to try to just use your hand you can do that too. Battery life seems to last fairly long we have never had a play session where his battery has run down. When it is time to recharge, you can use any USB plug around either on your computer or a wall outlet to give him more juice. We did counter a few problems though, interacting with the zoomer chimp. One item to remember is that he does not actually listen to your voice, you must wait until his eyes turn purple, then talk. So if you press his had to go into voice command mode, you have to be patient and wait for him to say "OKAY" with purple eyes before you try to say what you want him to do. Another consideration is that he can move fairly fast, so it is best to play with him in awide, flat space where he can move and react in his different ways. My daughter wishes the Zoomer Chimp had a mode where he could eat food, or perhaps interact with the banana handle that comes with him. Another flaw is his face. The rubberized mouth gets dirty very easily, and we find it is best to wipe his face with soapy water after every play session. Also, when his mouth moves it is noticeable that his teeth are not connected to his mouth. All in all, I think that zoomer chimp has some amazing technology that allows for interactive play. The main question will be will your child find it entertaining enough to warrant the sizable price for buying Zoomer Chimp. That will come down to how well you know your child. If they are really into interactive play with electronics and robotics, then they may find Zoomer Chimp to be an entertaining toy that holds his/her interest for several months. If your child is not too much into those types of toys, however, then likely zoomer chimp may not necessarily be worth the higher price, even though he may look appealing or sound entertaining on the package. All in all, I would give our experience with Zoomer Chimp four out of five stars. One half star has been taken away because of the slightly repetitive nature of play with him that me find some children bored after a few days of play, and another 1/2 star based on the $119.99 USD suggested retail price, which seems a bit high for the overall experience you get from play.

Great Toy!!!
Purchased for a 10th birthday and was pleased with this product. As with all electronics, fully charge before you play with it! I find that if I fully charge and fully deplete the first few times of use, then the battery seems to charge better in the long run. This item arrived on time and it was just as described. I really like that the seller, Lotz, contacted me after my purchase and gave me a contact number, should I need support. Great seller & great product!!!

Enjoyable Toy for the Kid, Unrealistic Battery Life
Santa got this for our daughter and she loves it. It does a lot of things that we probably haven't done yet. I do wish you could give it more than one voice command before it goes back into auto-mode. You have to push the head button with each command, wait for his eyes to turn purple, give him the command then he's done. Also if you want him to do the "follow me" command, you have to walk at a low level no more than 6 inches in front of his face. Not really awesome if you want him to follow you walking. My main issue with it is charge life. We charge it for an hour before it turns green to signal it's full charged then after about 15-20 min of ongoing play he dies and has to get charged again.

It only stood up once when we fist received it, no one at home believed me because it would not do it again, left it on charge for two days and still would not work. It was a Christmas gift for my grandson and my son-in-law charged it for a few hours and it has worked ever since like it was suppose to, I guess I was doing it wrong.

Pretty cool toy
First one didn't work out so well. Of course amazon was quick to replace it free of charge.New one works great, we've had it for about 2 weeks now and the kids don't give it a break.Key note to parents, this guy is REALLY LOUD! There's a way to reduce the volume by turning it off, holding the back button down while turning it back on for reduced volume. Before I found this feature I was going to give it a 4 star rating just for being so loud. It's amazing how the thing gets up on its own and balances.
