This thing worked great for a couple months until it got clogged and the coffee came out impossibly slowly. Ran it thru the dishwasher, rinsed it throughly, etc. Nothing worked. Waste of $20.

The quality is very good. Came in packaged well. Easy to use and wash.

Clean. Simple. Effective. Just what I needed for brewing coffee.

I feel like I have been close a few times, but there have been quite a few BAD cups of coffee in the process. I have been reading about the pour-over option in comparison to a French Press. Honestly, I don't have the patience for French Press coffee. I have tried a dozen times and it always ends in disaster. I don't emulsify it properly or the grind size is off and so it is under or over-extracted. Overall, it has been a huge mess and usually ends in a terrible cup of coffee.This Pour Over Dripper is the exact opposite! If you can see in the video, I heated 6 ounces of water to 190 degrees F in the microwave, set my grinder to process 3 Tablespoons of coffee beans and poured milk into my frother. The whole endevour took 4 and a half minutes from start to finish. Although it's not quite as fast as popping in a k-cup, the quality is by far more superior. Most mornings, I may have the patience to wait that long for a cup of coffee. I'll have to let you know tomorrow how I feel about that.~~~~ UPDATE~~~ I have been able to wait the 90 seconds for the water to heat up in the microwave. This filter is blowing the pants off of the k-cup!The quality of this Dripper is awesome. I love the fine mesh and it is made from stainless steel. All of the parts look like they were assembled with care. I am not sure if it can be dishwashed. ~~~~~~UPDATE~~~~~~~~ I have dishwashed this filter 5 or 6 times and it still looks good as new with no issues at all! The fine mesh is perfect for containing the grounds and releases just the coffee. There was no evidence of sludge or any of those French Press issues that I usually have.Cleaning may take some getting used to. The mesh is so fine and the grounds are so wet that they cling together making disposal quite simple.Overall I am very impressed by this little coffee solution. The taste is really great and fresh. Not over extracted at all which is always a worry for me.Would I recommend it to my friends? Absolutely! What a fun way to have coffee at a dinner party! The size of the filter would allow the coffee to be brewed into a carafe and for the price a person could buy 2 or 3 of them to allow for cleaning or to have a few flavors (Decaf as well) to all be served and brewed at the same time. There are quite a few options for this little dripper.I was just thinking of using it to separate solids for gravy and sauces. I am going to have to experiment with that option and let you all know what happens!If you have any other questions or if you would like me to research something about this product, please let me know!

I'm super excited to have this. I've been using it every day, and it's really saving me coffee. I usually make an entire pot of coffee, and if I can, I'll drink it. However, I have three kids, including a 6 month old, so the coffee usually goes cold or tastes burnt by the time I get to it. With this, I can make a cup of coffee to order with very little hassle. I use my electric kettle to boil water, and while it's heating up, I position the coffee dripper over my desired cup and load the proper amount of coffee. I learned to measure the amount of water needed for the cup I'm using, which also helped me to determine the amount of coffee to use. Then, I pour hot water into my Pyrex measuring cup, so I can measure out the right amount of water. To use the device, I pour water slowly around the top edge of the coffee grounds before dripping in the middle. Every so often I go around the top edge again to keep all of the grounds wet. I pour a little fast at first but then slow to a trickle/drip for the rest of the pour, which takes a total of about 2 minutes, 2.5/3 if you include the time it takes for the rest of the water to seep through. My coffee tastes amazing, and I love that I could go completely without an electric pot if I wanted to. I could use a stovetop kettle instead and keep my countertop empty. I may do that still! Loving this! The metal feels sturdy and doesn't flex. The filter has a tight weave, just like a paper filter. I've had no grounds flow through into my coffee. After each use, I immediately dump the grounds into the trash, tapping lightly, and I rinse the filter in the sink. This keeps me from needing to scrub, and the dripper is always ready to use!I received this product at a discount in return for my honest review.
