Full (6-8 in. Deep) SureGuard Mattress Encasement - 100% Waterproof, Bed Bug Proof, Hypoallergenic - Premium Zippered Six-Sided Cover

I purchased this primarily because of the high ratings, and the encasement feature. I wanted to seal a 3” Latex topper because of latex allergy issue. I read that the product was designed for 6-8” thick mattresses, but figured that I would just tuck/tape any excess. The instructions show 2 persons standing a mattress on end and then slipping the case down from the top. That is just not possible with a 3” topper. It’s just too floppy. So, I folded the mattress in half, top-to-bottom, and then slipped the case on the top half, shimmying it down to where the mattress was flexed. Then I let the topper open up again and continued pulling the case to the bottom. It was a one-person job. To my surprise, there was very little overage in terms of the thickness of the case. I don’t think I would have been able to get the case on if it were any thinner! The construction of the case is superior, and I especially liked the zipper and the Velcro flap to secure the zipper end. Well thought out.

Our mattress is every bit 12” thick plus an added 4” thick gel foam pad. I worried about whether this enclosure would accommodate both, but it easily stretched to fit no problem. I’d be cautious zipping it closed as we were, but go slow and gently pull edges together as you go as not to put unnecessary stress on the zipper and it’s great! The top side of enclosure has a terry cloth type surface so it’s not at all like sleeping on plastic. Should be good to go, installed less than a week now but so far it’s doing it’s job!

I have had other mattress covers and this one is very nice quality. It does, as they all do, take two people to put on because it fully encloses the whole mattress. I have a very deep mattress and this easily covered it. I put a mattress pad on top because the mattress pad has a different purpose, adds a small cushion between the seer and the mattress cove and is easily removed and washed. A mistake I made with my old cover.

I’ve had a first derivation of this mattress cover, so when I bough a new mattress, I immediately ordered a new one. Start out fresh.I am massively allergic to dust mites, and that problem stopped when I purchased my first of two covers. It’s a GREAY product!!! Worth more than you’ll pay for it!

At first I really liked it! It was easy to put on and comfortable even without a fitted sheet. The zippers definitely make sure it’s secure and keep your mattress clean, but I would be careful if you have pets, my dog easily ripped it from jumping on & off my bed.

This mattress encasement product arrived promptly ...thank you ! The offending apartment complex has been 'attended to' , but your mattress encasement system is well made enough to insure a formidable barrier now exists should the problem re-occur . Your product ,along with some other preemptive strike strategies seems to have sent the message of no bugs allowed. Thanks for the help.

This is a nice mattress protector. It does not make any plastic noises. It was EXTREMELY hard to put on by myself for a King size. Keep in mind that it is a full cover and zips tight. I would never attempt to do this without a helper next time.

These were only put on a few days ago so can't address some areas. When I read the install instructions, I was concerned about lifting the mattress around, etc. I'm 84 and in reality, we were pleasantly surprised it was very easy to get the cover on the mattress. We were again surprised as we didn't lose any of the mattress comfort after the cover had been installed.
