No rust so far but barely used in one winter

Costs a little more but worth it.
My old hitch balls always get scratched up and then rusty. This thing is solid stainless and should last forever. If you haul things a lot, its worth avoiding the hassle of old hitch balls. This one is very nice, I recommend it.
