I had bought a bowl like this at a local pet supplies shop and wanted another, but the store had discontinued them because other customers complained that the silicone rim came off. I have never had this problem with mine. It's a perfect size for my 50-lb dog, who usually eats 2 meals a day. The bowl holds about a cup and a half with room to spare. it has a smooth, sloped interior that she licks clean easily, and now that I have three, I can always have one clean and ready. I hand-wash these bowls, and I'm guessing the problem others had might have been caused by putting them in the dishwasher, but I really have no idea, They are stainless steel and silicone; very easy to clean. I paid $17 for my original bowl bought locally, so these are half that price, and the quality is exactly the same. Can't tell them apart. Great value; they should last for years.

I gave these bowls five stars because they are well made and high quality, and the price is very fair. Their simple, streamlined style also fit in nicely with my kitchen decor, which has a lot of stainless steel in it (it is just a rental but the kitchen is newly renovated). (Yes, I like even my pet accessories to be reasonably elegant looking.) I was looking for water bowls for the dog that the pesky cat (JK, I love the little guy) couldn't tip over. He has so far not managed to do so, and both he and the dog use them for both food and water. I also like that they are non-slip, mostly because I think the silicone is easy on the floors. I like the set so much that I bought a second set, so now we have four, which works well for the size of our "pack" (we have two cats and a dog). The only thing I have learned is that I can't fill bowls too high with water, and I have to set them down carefully. This is because the most sanitary way to carry them is from the bottom, so when you set them down on the floor you inevitably tilt them, and if you are careless water sloshes out. And then I am back to where I started, after pesky cat has used the dog's water bowl as his own personal playground, mopping water off the floor.

These are great bowls - good quality, tip proof, easy to clean. I bought the 14 oz size, but the bowls only hold about 8oz. It works fine for food, but I’m constantly spilling water when I put the bowl down on the floor and have to refill it more often. If you order these get the next size up from what you need.

I bought these to use outside on my deck to feed our feral cat community. Of course putting food outside always invites other critters and invariably the Raccoons would come and tip over the disposable "Ziploc" bowls I was using out there for feeding. Just to be clear ... I didn't mind feeding the Raccoons, they brought their babies and the show was just adorable! Also, the cats and the Raccoons got along quite well. It was just a matter of the mess all over the deck. I decided to try something sturdier, and something I could clean rather than continue to replace so I bought these.Great size, holds about 3 cups of dry food to make a heaping pile and No Tipping. Cleans easily with hot water and vinegar.Despite the rubber bumper rims however, the raccoons are able to drag them around the deck and position them in whatever area suits them at the time. No worries though, I keep 2 out there and filled. Plenty for all. :)

I originally only got one of the two bowls that were supposed to come, and when I contacted Amazon they told me I had to ship the bowl I had back to get the two I was supposed to have. That seemed really silly to me, so I went on Google to find the company myself. I let them know what happened and they were so friendly and so helpful. I got to keep the bowl while PetFusion sent me not one but TWO as a replacement for the one missing. I really appreciated being able to use this bowl as we waited because the whole reason I needed them is my cat developed bad acne, so we got to get him better, sooner.The quality of the bowl itself is also excellent. I was looking only specifically for the 304 type of stainless steel for my cat, this was the best prices I found on items of this quality. Because of the quality and customer service, I have purchased four stainless steel cat bowls- which are awesome, too- and a silicon mat for under the water bowl. These bowls are the perfect size for moderately large house cats. In fact, two sibling house cats in my home typically share one of these bowls, though it's not quite big enough to satisfy them both. They each get their own bowl but they go after each other's. That's cats for you. The only thing I don't like about these bowls, and it's a tiny complaint, is that they're really hard to separate when they slide together. i wouldn't have the problem, I think, if I weren't biting my nails and peeling the skin right now (ouch) to the point of making my fingers numb. So, probably my own issue, and it's a small complaint for such high quality bowls sold at what I myself feel is a very reasonable price.

These bowls are good quality for the price. I appreciate that they nest, have a rubber bottom to keep it from moving all over the kitchen, and the look is attractive. I haven't had them very long, so I'm not sure if they might hold up to dishwasher use. I purchased both sizes. My dog gets a cup of food per meal in the smaller bowl and water in the larger bowl. After my first set I went and purchased 3 more sets and will likely have these for years to come. It is a good investment and my kitchen appreciates how little space it takes up.
