Always pleased with the flavor on this oyster sauce. The umami flavors are intense, so you do not need to use a lot of the sauce. Perfect for any recipes that call for Oyster sauce.

Salty as heck but better than most oyster sauces
The flavor of this product is better than some of the cheaper options out there. My big problem with all oyster sauces in general is the outrageous, health threatening amount of sodium contained in one serving. In this product, a single tablespoon contains a whopping 830 mg of sodium. WOW! That's a lot of salt! So buyer beware that the big secret of this sauce is saltiness without apology - not oyster. I use it infrequently as a result, but wish it had less salt and use it VERY cautiously as is can easily over-salt and RUIN an otherwise good meal.

Good price. Good product. Get some.
This is much better and bigger than the miniature afterthought bottles, offered in American grocery stores, only half this size. Also less markup per ounce so a kind of bargain. It shipped by Lee Kum Kee the maker so it's not old moldy stock from someone's basement business. Their premium ('lady in the boat' label art) oyster sauce is just the best according to YouTube Asian chefs. And it is.
