BUY IT-Great book
I found this book informative and interesting. I bought the kindle version because I fly a lot, but wish I had the paperback version. It would be easier to flip back to another chapter than scroll. Ross blends personal experience and interviews into each chapter. Each chapter also references the scientific journals or studies that he uses. I appreciate that he has actually done the workouts and cycles listed in the book. I recently transferred the Winter mesocycle to a word document that I can record the times, weights and equipment I use, so we will see how that goes. Ross is the only reason I have social media, this book and his posts are motivation to move and exercise each day. Looking forward to the year ahead with this book and workouts as my guide. Buy it.

Informative and entertaining
Ross Edgley is both informative and entertaining. His stories about his travels and adventures are as inspiring as his knowledge and experience in human performance.

Inspiring mentality
Ross Edgley is a ridiculous human who has done ridiculous things. This book is a good guide to setting up your own training plan for a set goal - his is swimming challenges, but you can tailor is to whatever you might want to do, hike, cycle, powerlift, row... you get the idea.So of the luxuries of being a self employed adventurer are lost on those of us who don't have friends with obstacle courses that they can lend us or access to private physio and medical care. But the man has worked for his success and you can't begrudge him the best care of what is literally his tools (his body) possible.I'm no writer, I'm not an english major or teacher or any academic of any kind, let alone the printed word, however there are a few errors in the book that an editor should have picked up, sentences that seem to miss a word. I noticed about 4 in the book. Perhaps though, I just misread or don't have the same grasp of the english language as Ross and it's my mistake.I enjoyed the book massively, I lent to friends and recommended it to others. I will read his other books I'm sure.

A real eye opener!
I was dubious about purchasing Ross’s latest book as I wasn’t sure it was something that would apply to me or be hugely of interest.I bought it anyway as I always buy Ross’s books - I genuinely can’t believe ho lucky I am to have purchased it!I had trained for an iron man which I completed, and post event I just fell out of routine with my training and subsequently picked up a shoulder injury and a knee injury, which further impacted my training. After a while of putting up with it and trying to train around it I picked up this book and it has been invaluable.I appreciate that Ross’s shoulder injury and mine are worlds apart in comparison but through following the mesocycles as described by Ross I’m now into the ‘build’ phase of my macrocycle with a fresh knee / shoulder ready to focus on my training again.I can’t thank Ross enough for sharing his knowledge and expertise. This book is for everyone not just for athletes - a super read and I look forward to his next one!

Two minds.
I have the trilogy of books by Ross Edgley as the information he shares is out of the world but Blue print to me is a miss and a disappointment you would be better buying the world's fittest book as you get more information and insight into the fitness and mindset world of training. I am sorry.

So far, the most comprehensive training manual I own with much depth
The theory behind this excellent book is to highlight a 365 day plan, broken down into 4 phases that in some respects can be adapted to your own needs. Coupled with depth of knowledge, analysis, end notes for research, philosophy and Ross’ personal experience makes for such an interesting read. I couldn’t put it down. Thank you Ross for providing so much more than a text book and the honesty offered to empower people to create their own bulletproof bodies. Ben
