Bad in every way!
SOFT blade! Handle is lopsided. Blade is not centered in handle. The worst fit and finish I have seen. I'm not returning the knife because I'm seeing what improvements I can make to it, So far not much improvement. I'll update.Update 1: I sanded the knife with 500 grit paper and stained the handle. The handle and brass look a lot better. The blade is very soft so it is easy to work on. I'm going to polish the blade and see if there is enough metal to improve the profile.Update 2: I reprofiled the blade the best I could but it still looks rough. Polishing only made the defects more obvious so I'm now thinking about painting the blade black with krinkle paint. A unique letter opener?Still can't make a silk purse from a sow's ear!Update 3: I worked on the handle and guard and it is now easier to hold. I added epoxy to the blade tang where it attaches to the guard. The epoxy has stiffened the blade a bit. I'm thinking bright red paint for visibility and using this in the garage for light tasks.Update 4: I Added more epoxy to the tang (on both sides) and made a "trail" of epoxy half way up the center of the blade (again on both sides). The blade does not move at all now. I have some bright red, extra high gloss, spray paint and will paint the entire knife for visibility and use the knife in the garage.

Good price
The boot knife it's self is not bad at allfor the blade is sharpish with a stone you can get it quite sharp. The balance is good. The guard, wood handle, and pommel are all fit on nice and snug. Knife feels good in my hand. The sheath is the bad it is paper thin. The clip on the sheath is worthless for it unbent when I tried slipping into my boot top. When I put the knife in the sheath I found that the fit is bad to non-existent for the sheath depth, length, and width are all sized to a bigger blade. It should fit nice and snug and not flop a round. The locking strap didn't work and broke when I tried to snap it closed.Overall I am happy with the knife not the sheath, the price is good. I don't know if I can give it more than three stars for half of the product is useless.Again I say the knife is well done and I like it, it will come in real handy as a back up knife for that unexpected time.

Display knife or adult toy
Blast from the past. When I was a kid you could win these as prizes when the fairs or carnivals came to town. I got them from time to time and would throw them at targets or go explore in the woods. They never stuck around long, lost them or mom would trash them when she found them. Glad to see these cheap knives are still around.

Crooked handle , sheath won’t lock in the knife.
Blade and handle are off center, came as sharp as a butter knife, sheath will not clasp to hold in the knife.
