The company I work for recently enrolled the commercial team in a two week Revit training seminar. The instructor was very knowledgeable, professional, an all-around nice guy, but the course was taught very quickly. I walked away feeling I learned very little. Then I found this book. Wow! I've learned more from this book in the first chapter alone than I did through the seminar.The book allows online access to additional chapters, video tutorials by the author that are short (no information overload) and easy to follow sample drawings and exercise files (both in Revit format. All "extras" are downloadable). The best thing about the book is that you can learn at your own pace, pausing the videos to perform the explained function (if you have the Revit program, which I highly suggest getting. Trial versions are inexpensive and easy to acquire online via download).This book is worth twice as much as the posted price, so to say the price is low is an understatement, and it will have you learning Revit in no time. I'm not one to be easily impressed, but suffice it to say, I'm frickin' impressed! I'll definitely be buying the residential version as well. Daniel Stine is a Revit master, and whom do we seek when desiring to learn something, class? That's right - masters!With this book within reach, you're going to LOVE!!! learning Revit.
