How the practice test items are so arranged--from easy to challenging ones--provided me a good warm-up in answering those items. The listening transcripts were a great help to find spoken words that I missed. The sample essays are a useful guide on how to perform well the writing tasks under time constraint. I found the reading passages very informative and interesting. The downloadable recordings show what would give a lower or higher score. Overall, my experience with completing the practice tests has given me a lot of confidence to take the real IELTS test! I definitely would recommend Simones' Practice Tests to those asked to take IELTS as requirement for employment or higher study purpose.

I am happy with my purchase as a teacher because the book provides 5 complete IELTS tests with accompanying audio to accurately reproduce exam conditions and content. I found it very helpful that for the writing section, examples of task 1 and task 2 are provided to help the student understand the required style for obtaining higher scores. Perhaps the only suggestion I would have is to provide an approximate score of the model writing answers provided to highlight the different levels. Very satisfied with this series.
