Theses chairs look really nice. Solid construction. They are not soft and plush at all. As office lobby chairs they are perfect. Easy to assemble if you don’t follow the instructions provided but YouTube a video. The directions ateTERRIBLE. They make no sense at all and have useless illustrations No written words. Take the left and right stickers off with water before you assemble them. Also the left right indicates looking at the chair and not sitting in in. The bottom front cross board is a bit tricky with a holding bolt and long screw. This goes in last after both sides are on. Don’t over tighten the bottom and top cushions because they have to flex to assemble the bottom. You tighten everything last. On the front cross board line up the holding bolt first on each side and check to make sure the long screw goes in before trying to attach it. One of mine was not lined up properly with a big enough set opening and I had to work on it and hammer I it in before I could get it to thread and then take it out. Way easier to do first and than try to assemble and put it on. Hope that makes sense and helps you all. Watch a video first!

The most comfortable uncomfortable chair I’ve ever bought. It looks amazing, very time period correct. Not that I’m an expert. This is not an heirloom piece, it’s manufactured like most things nowadays, without lasting quality. The seat cushion and back cushion are part of the structure, there is no replacing the cushion 5 years from now if it sags. Despite that, I love the chair (at the price I paid). Clever design and assembly, puts ikea designers to task. The cushion is hard as a rock, but as soon as I sit down, it’s very comfortable. This is an accent chair for me, so it just something to collect dust and look pretty, which it does.

Very impressed with this accent chair. It’s solid and relatively comfortable if you like a firm seat. Perfect addition to our lounge and great value for money. Similar accent chairs elsewhere go for a lot more money. No more sitting on the floor when guests are over for us!

UPDATE - I finally received a refund. I am now happy. As mentioned below, the chair is sturdy, fairly easy to assemble, but not particularly comfortable.I really don`t like to give a negative review, but I am hoping this gets someone`s attention at Amazon...Firstly, I ordered a chair...it was shipped...then I received notice that the shipment failed and that I would receive a refund shortly. MY BEEF??? I have not received a refund, and I cannot find anyway to communicate with Amazon to inquire. Amazon! You need to fix this!!As for the chair, I ordered a second one and discovered 1 bolt missing after I assembled the chair. The only way to get a replacement bolt was to order another chair with a return request. I received the 3rd chair quickly, removed the one bolt that was needed and have returned the chair. This part went smoothly, so far.The chair is sturdy, and assembles fairly easily. One hole was misaligned making it difficult to insert the bolt. The chair is sturdy. The upholstery is good. The seat is very firm, so this is not a lounging chair. This is not a concern for me but may be for some people.NOW...if only I can get Amazon's attention for the refund. Once I receive the refund I will gladly give this chair and transaction a better review
