CUSTOMER SERVICE: Let me begin this review with a shout out to their customer service because they truly deserve the praise. We bought this shower system for our master bath renovation which was recently completed. When we used the shower for the first time, we found an issue with the hose that was attached to the handheld. We immediately contacted the seller via email. They responded the next day and asked us to send a video so they could properly asses the issue. Within two days, we received the new replacement part which was even an upgrade from the original one. All this time, they had kept us posted thru email. To our pleasant surprise, we found out that this product comes with free replacement parts within 5 years! PRODUCT: We are 100% satisfied with this item. It is beautifully made & high quality for the price. The matte black finish & minimalist design is so sleek. We like that all the controls are all housed in one & easy to figure out. Even our contractor thinks this is a really good Amazon buy.

Updating my review: I reached out to the email address that was on the box of the product. They ended up responding back to me and immediately sent a new faceplate. I think this may have been a known issue, but regardless, we were able to make it work with the new faceplate and I really do enjoy showers in my new bathroom. The rain water is so relaxing and the handheld works great. On the surface this looks really nice. However, on the very last part of the install, our contractor showed us that the faceplate cover for the shower handle does not align with the measurements on the inside. He cut the tile to the exact measurements of the inside pieces and when placing the faceplate, it was off skew. There is a large gap. Why don't they make the piece to match the measurements inside? I've emailed the company email address on the packaging. Hopefully they have new faceplates they can send. But I wish I had read more reviews and noticed that this isn't the quality product I was hoping for.

EDIT: The manufacturer read my review and actually sent me a very nice stainless steel hose for the wand. It gives me confidence that they are working toward selling a quality product!!!! Changed from 3 stars to 4. This is the second one of these I've installed. Pros: looks great and works great, lots of features for the money. Cons: The hose to the wand is stiff and feels cheap. I guess the low price comes with a cost. Came with the wrong gasket for the end of the hose that attaches to the wand and the wand leaked when I first installed it. Lucky for me I had something that worked in a bag of faucet repair stuff that I have. The instructions suck. I'm a DIY guy and not a pro, but I think even a pro would want more information, information that is in the instructions of Moen, Delta and other brands. Would to give this a 5 but just can't.

This shower valve set has been a mess since it arrived. Nothing but issues to try to accommodate a poor design and even worse set of instructions. The steps that are clearly written are incorrect. 1st Issue: The instructions for plumbing the shower head and the shower handle are backwards. So plan for an extra half an hour of installation while performing the guess and check method. Make sure you have some extra plumbing parts around in case you have to redo it. Make sure you test it before sealing up the wall! I had issues sealing the threads. Had to use Teflon tape that was higher quality and thicker than what was provided with the unit. 2nd issue: No Flange is provided with the brass shower handle outlet There are 2 Major issues with this: 1) It is very unlikely you will be able to thread this in the perfect amount to seal the connection and make it flush with the tile. So you will have an ugly connection. I set my drop ears (threaded connections) as far forward as possible and there still is not enough thread on the outlet body to seal properly. Now i will have to try to find an adapter and a flange to cover the cut tile. 2) Without a seal you have to caulk around the outlet body otherwise you will certainly get water intrusion. Why provide a seal for the shower head pipe but not provide a seal for the pipe that is lower on the wall which will certainly be exposed to more water?? 3rd issue: The valve includes a removable face plate that says to make make it flush with finished wall... Make sure that you add an extra 1/4" past flush. Followed this instruction and did not have enough space to activate the handle properly. Luckily i have access to the wall behind the shower valve otherwise i would be ripping out all my tile just to move the valve forward 1/4". 4th Minor issue: Face plate for valve and handles is very difficult to install. Hole spacing is not correct which results in having to pry the seal back with a screwdriver to install. After dealing with all the design and instruction issues with this set i would absolutely return this if it did not require me to destroy my brand new shower to take it out....
