Wanted a compact bus pass holder to replace a worn out flip bus pass holder as our local bus operator no longer supplis them as "most people now use online tickets" when I asked. Saw this & thought it would be ideal. Arrived on time as wanted to use when travelling for the Jubilee weekend. Lanyard is a good length for me (5ft 4) & the retractable attachment seems to work fine. The lanyard comes with a plastic strip with a split press stud either end so make sure when closing the press stud, that it "snaps" shut otherwise you could lose the bus pass holder. I wouldn't recommend opening & closing the press stud too often as this may weaken the plastic strip/press stud. Zipped compartment doesn't open very wide but still holds a couple of notes & few pound coins along with a key. There is also another card slot at the back of the zipped compartment.

I purchased this for my Son to travel to and fro school.The idea I had was he can store it in the top pocket in his rucksack, attached to the loop inside, so he can unzip it, pull the holder out on the elastic, tap the machine and zip back up. Perfect.However, apparently I'm "too old fashioned" and thats a cr*p idea! So he doesn't use it to it's full potential, but if it were in my bag, then that's how I would use it.It's a really great item and I recommend to any parent whose kids travel to school on a bus.
