Great replacement for THU224 TOTO dual flush
We have a 2017 Toto model that has been decommissioned for its leaky flush. We’ve looked high and low for replacements and this was the first one to work. We got a professional to install it and it took about 15 minutes total. It works beautiful and we no longer have to hear our flush leak constantly. 10/10 recommend.

Works as intended
This was a straight forward purchase. We knew what we needed and ordered it. The instructions were not great but again this is a straight forward product to use.

Tight squeeze in older model Aquia
Maybe this will help somebody. My 10 year old Aquia was leaking from the flush valve base. The original part is discontinued and replaced with this part. The original flush valve does not have the white cylindrical overflow tube, and if installed 'correctly', the overflow tube would be directly over the tank mount screw (and you have to remove the tank to install this- already not easy with the Aquia and it's hidden fill valve). Another reviewer mentioned installing this part at "2:00", which you can see in my picture- thanks for the tip there. But now I need a longer tube for the fill valve<->overflow, so another trip to the hardware store. AND as you can see, the push buttons for the flush are now at a crazy angle, as well as being below the original button level, so I've moved the tank lid flush trim about 30 degrees and bought some dowel rods to make a longer push button stem and avoid the $35 cost for new trim. The part works fine- the sheet of directions included is for an entirely different flush valve. Not super helpful other than adjusting the water level.Biggest tip: if you need to replace your flush valve, buy a new tank to toilet gasket, and new tank screws too.

Works just fine!
Others said it is cheap and doesn't work right or breaks. I didn't find that to be the case.

Excellent replacement for a wornout 2" dual flush valve
And what is really nice about this 2" flush valve is that the mount section and the flush valve can be separated. If you have a similar flush valve that is leaking water (a ghost flush as I have heard), you can twist the old valve off (about a 1/4 turn), and replace it with this new value. This eliminates the need to remove the tank from the base of the toilet. I had to adjust (shorten) the stem rods that flush the toilet, but that was fairly simple -- be sure to carefully measure before cutting the stems. I was able to save about $300 with this approach.

Leaks, leaks and continued to leak.
What I thought would be a simple replacement of a flush valve turned into a nightmare. This is probably the single worst product I have ever purchased. As many other reviewers have mentioned it leaks and leaks and leaks directly at the attachment with toilet seat around the large rubber O-ring. I have a Toto toilet with 4 separate holes at the bottom, 2 for the toto mounting screws, 1 for the fill valve and one for this horrible flush valve. All I have to do is just set the screws on the bottom and lightly hand tighten the fill valve and those do not leak at all but this is just so awfully designed that it won’t stop leaking. It definitely seems like a design flaw.To make everything worse I have just purchased my third adjustable lock nut wrench to try and tighten the plastic nut on the bottom since everything I purchase seems to be a millimeter too small to fit the lock nut it comes with. I’m by no means a plumber but it seems odd that all the adjustable lock nut wrenches that are sold are just ever so slightly too small to fit this.

Fit right in
This is a good replacement for this style of valve just turn and pull out and repeat the Process without major disassemble

Glad I read other reviews
Like other reviewers experienced, this piece was difficult to install and then leaked after installation. After twisting it back and forth trying to find the best position in which to install it, I installed it and then discovered that I had no good way to attach the fill line. I pulled it out and pulled the top part off and reinstalled it in the opposite position. This allowed me to install it in a better position for the fill line. It still had to be installed at a slight angle to the flush buttons but it still worked. After putting it all back together and trying it out, I discovered the toilet always seemed to be slightly running. I went back and read the reviews again and decided that it was probably that same gasket they they had experience leaking. I pulled it all apart again and REALLY tightened the plastic nut on the bottom. It worked! No more leaking/running.
