Sticks well onto our magnetic dishwasher and slide is easy to maneuver. Can't attest to the sticky pads, but it has a really good magnet.

I was surprised that the stainless steel dishwasher we had could use magnets, and the family was always confused whether the dishes were clean or dirty in the dishwasher.So far, this magnet has worked well. It is large, and since no one in the family is red/green color blind, it does make it very clear to everyone what's in the dishwasher. The slider doesn't easily move (which is good), so it takes a little force to slide it to Dirty or Clean which prevents the ambiguous "in-between" sliding from happening.

Really cute and nifty little life hack! It went right on. I did not have to use a sticker because it came with a magnet. Stays on my dishwasher well and the window slides between the words dirty and clean. When I load the dishes to be washed and start them, I just slide it to clean. When I have unloaded the dish washer, I slide it to dirty. Easy Peasy! No more confusion amongst my family members if the dishes in the dish washer are clean or dirty. Everyone now knows by the sign on it and what it reads. I Recommend!

Best money you will spend. This is larger than I had imagined. Worked out perfect. Has 2 options for attaching. sticky back or magnetic. The magnetic stick really well! door on it slides well, but not so well that every time you open and close it flips(an issue with another brand) this holds!Tip: When I close it to run- I switch it then to "clean" . So when my spouse opens the door, takes, 1 glass out and closes it, therefore shutting off the "clean" light on the unit..... I now know that everything in there is "clean ".This has been an issue in every home I have lived in. "are they clean or dirty..." NOT ANY MORE! this I think has saved my marriage! LOL!Hope this is helpful! :)

This magnet is helping my children with their chore chart. No more questions of "dirty or clean" and they would assume and just thrown their dishes in the sink.

I received the dishwasher magnet on November 8, 2024, and the dishwasher magnet works as intended. It slides easily from dirty to clean and it locks in place. If this changes in the future, I will update the review. However, before buying the dishwasher magnet, I read the reviews. Several of the one star reviews mentioned that the dishwasher magnet corroded their stainless steel door. Some metals will corrode stainless steel (galvanic corrosion) if the metals are in direct contact for long periods. Also, some metals reacts with steam (hot water) to form oxides which may react with other metals as well. The description of the dishwasher magnet stated that the magnet is covered with soft silicon to protect the dishwasher metal surface. The gray silicon should not react with steam and stainless steel. To be on the safe side, I used the double-side tape to attach the magnet to the dishwasher door to avoid direct contact of the magnet with the dishwasher.

Bought this as a stocking stuffer for my son. It's nice and big and perfect for dishwasher. Color option made it possible to coordinate with what you have. Love the magnet but also included are two stickies if needed. Nice gadget.

Only little niggle is that this gadget is flat, and our dishwasher has a slightly curved surface so it can be tricky to get it to grip well. Other than that it does exactly what it's supposed to.

Instead of hearing or asking "Did we run the dishwasher?"No it's just look and see it's either dirty or clean.and if your worried about mucking up your stainless steel then pop the magnets out and put it on with some two sided tape.
