* Why I select this?I went to AV-TEST. And selected a security product with the same ratings as Bitdefender. Also, my brother has been using AVG for years according to my original suggestion.To get this I ordered the licence from Amazon. And received it within 24 hours. Went to a suggested website and downloaded it, installed it, and entered the license number, and it's operational.* The installation processIt's straightforward and follows the prompts. It stopped at 97% for several minutes. But hold on to your horses and just be patient.* What you can get?It's a very well-designed G.U.I. and you can install what you like from those available. It has tool utilities, VPN, antivirus, firewall, secure browser, and password manager.* Why this specifically?I have used Bitdefender for several years with Windows 10 and it's a great product. But for no reason it stopped updating for three weeks, with no warning. I freaked a bit and went to another security provider, F-Secure Total. This used to be great when I had Windows XP. But not anymore. It's too complicated. And even though I paid for it. I uninstalled it as I lost faith in it. As part of the customer survey, F-Secure asked my opinion and I let them know of my difficulties.* Bonus tipsI can create a recover.iso DVD or thumb drive to help when offline. When I back up with Ashampoo Backup Pro 17.09, I do a Deep Scan first. Which with this takes around 9 hours. If the online performance of your PC isn't good, call your Internet Provider. They have automated online remote access apps to sort your PC out. Mine is transformed! Like a new PC!* SummaryI am both amazed and pleased with how well it's installed and how responsive it is.* UpdateI have used this a few weeks and i am delighted to say, I have had no issues or complaints so far. And I am delighted with this AVG security suite of great security software.

Found to be very good value for the price, very happy with it.

The activation code arrived in the post the next day. My previous subscription was due to expire so the day before it did I signed into my AVG account and entered the new activation code and waited only a few minutes for all the apps to update. All working OK for another year of renewal.

Caused me problems on my laptop

I installed this product a couple of months ago and followed most of its recommendations regarding the security and efficiency of my Windows 10 systems on all three of our family computers. Over the two months my systems definitely feel more secure especially with VPN and Anti Tracking features that it offers.

Bought this AVG thinking it would be great. Got it yesterday put key in on activation website asked to make a new or existing account. after doing that it said something wrong. web chat AVG said it was inactive reported to Amazon to get refund. Got QR code went to send it back apparently couldnt send it as its software and not acceptable as refund. waste £24.99. So wouldnt ask for it to be delivered now no virus protection. If anything buy digital got Kaspersky way better. But no refund from Amazon for an inactive card i received for AVG. Seems as someone had used it.

I had AVG already installed and AVG wanted around £80 to keep my annual subscription going. Cancelled my subscription and bought this instead, as a much cheaper option which still covered my computer, mobile and tablet device. 🙃 No brainer
