Works well and lasts long in the Florida heat and humidity.
I've been using these for years to charge 12v deep cycle batteries with solar. They work great in the north florida sun and humidity. Out of about 35 of them I've only had a few fail over the years. Slightly expensive but far better than the cheaper solid state charge controllers.

Sent a defective part
I have used this product before and it worked great. was just replacing an old one. This one is defective and doesn’t work either. Not sure where quality control went.

Short lifespan
I went through 2 of these over the course of a couple years where they would just up and quit working. They were always in a dry enclosure and were only expected to work 4-6 months of the year tending batteries in an off grid cabin. The last one showed up dead so I went with something similar to my primary charge controller that has Bluetooth showing a record of what it’s been up to. Save the trouble and keep looking.

Works
This a good regulator for a small solar panel and works well. It would be nice to have an LED or somethin to let you know it was charging, but then it might not be waterproof. You will need to use a meter to check charging current.

Nice
My well water is controlled by a self control pumping system that monitors the level of water in the holding tank. This part fit great for the control parts that failed. I’m up and pumping water.
