Good Keyboard, Bad Program
So the Keyboard itself is a very good keyboard, that you simply cannot deny. Very responsive etc etc. However, what lets it down is that most of the features have to be set up or managed by a program called Roccat Swarm. Now this is all very easy to do, the program is well designed in that respect. However the problem that myself and others have encountered is that Swarm doesn't seem to be very compatible with Windows 10. This results in the program crashing seconds after being opened, meaning you cannot possibly customise your keyboard in terms of LED's (and mine is stuck on a garish bright yellow and red theme and it's disgusting to look at), You cannot set up Macro's and also you cannot use any of the multimedia quick controls (such as pressing FN+F11 to pause music). I have tried to contact Roccat for support but they're very bad in this area, with the only solution being to completely wipe everything to do with Swarm and then reinstall, which works until you shut down your computer, meaning every time you would turn on your computer, you'll have to wipe/ reinstall Swarm to use your keyboard fully.I would recommend this Keyboard if Swarm works for you, otherwise you could probably spend less and get more with a different brand

Terrible keyboard with no durability
READ THIS REVIEW - AVOID THIS PRODUCTLet me begin by saying I've owned this product for almost two years at this point. Initially, the keyboard look and felt amazing. The leds were some of the brightest I've ever seen on a keyboard and the flat keycaps definitely highlighted that. My previous keyboard was a cherry red and I can say I easily preferred these switches. The only downside at this point was the cheaply made keycaps. For the first few months, it was a great keyboard. However, just under a year in, some of my keys wouldn't detect properly (Caps, Tab, w, s) and this problem grew way worse over time. Eventually, it was unbearable playing any games on the keyboard. I tried everying including trying to remove any dust using compressed air, going through software updates, etc... Nothing helped.I had to contact amazon for a replacement. Amazon chucked me around a bit by telling me to contact roccat who then told me to contact amazon but eventually they sent me a new keyboard.I know for a fact that the same thing will happen to this keyboard because the contacts will wear out again. This keyboard clearly wasn't made to last. It makes me mad thinking that a gaming company would make a gaming keyboard with no durability built into their keys! I highly recommend to anyone reading this review to avoid this keyboard and buy a keyboard made to last like a Ducky keyboard.

Keycaps show shifted characters UNDERNEATH the unshifted one. Howling madness.
Ok yes, after all these years of using a keyboard you'd think I'd be able to touch type, but here we are...Look at the keycaps in the promotional images. Take a good look at the number row, where characters like 7 and & or 4 and $ are. Or look at ; and : or ' and @. See how they show the opposite way around to any normal keyboard with the shifted character beneath the unshifted one, even though the sign on the Shift key is an up arrow? It freaks my brain out for a split second whenever I type any of them. It's horrible. As for the keyboard... it's ok. The LEDs are bright. The switches are clunky rather than clicky. A similar feeling to Cherry brows, but with a bit more thud. The keycaps don't appear to come off though, so cleaning will be a pain and there's no option to change them for ones that don't have the absolutely idiotic styling problem mentioned above. Finally the Roccat Swarm software: I honestly thought no one could make software worse than Corsair's "iCUE", just but oh how wrong I was! Hats off to Roccat for stealing that crown from Corsair. It's terrible when it's not busy crashing or refusing to run.

Excellent keyboard! Highly recommend for any avid typist - At least it was.
So far, I really like the look and the feel of this keyboard. Coming from a Ryos MK Pro this feels like a significant upgrade. The keys are pretty quite and actuate very quickly. It's a pleasure to type on and I no longer suffer with finger fatigue after lengthy typing sessions. The customisation of the keyboard via the Roccat Swarm app makes it a lot easier than previously. The addition to the volume/brightness knob is a very smart touch although I feel there was a missed opportunity to turn the dial into a toggle switch for mute/sound and no illumination/illuminated options via this toggle. The keyboard is lightweight and much smaller than the Ryos MK Pro but does not hinder the typing experience. I think Roccat have a winning formula here. Not that the lights were the main reason for purchasing this keyboard but boy do they look nice. Especially through their new keys which are semi-exposed.Update 12/01/2021: I am sad to say that this keyboard has been posing numerous problems in the past 6 months or so with little-to-no use; on average 20 hours per week. The keys are becoming unresponsive and sometimes they will often press the key multiple times even though you have actuated the key only once. The famous Roccat Talk feature no longer works despite the claims in the software. You can use Roccat Talk on a per-device basis but not to communicate with other Roccat peripherals. I would look elsewhere for a product that will last especially at this price-point. I am appalled because it is such a lovely keyboard. I no longer have faith in the Roccat brand.Tl:dr: Nice keyboard, recommend if you're a fan of mechanical keyboards. But sadly, do not last.

Good keyboard with a software that doesn't live up to expectations
Good looking keyboard that is far from being flawless.I will start with the good and move on to the negatives, based on my experience so far.The looks are quite unique and definitely make the keyboard stand out.Fits good on my desk and doesn't require a massive amount of space.Been using it without the arm rest. The switches are quite ok, they feel robust, they are NOT loose and clunky and definitely leave you a satisfactory feeling after typing on them. They totally smoke the switches of FNATIC streak keyboard (brown) in comparison. The layout is clean and the out of the box FN shortcuts quite handy. If you were to use the keyboard just like it came out of the box then i would recommend buying one 100%. If you do use it like that though you are gonna be missing a lot, like custom illumination patterns, custom shortcuts etc. If you do want to do all those stuff you got to use the ROCCAT software (SWARM) and that brings us straight to the negatives of using this keyboard. The ROCCAT swarm is a lazy software that definitely doesn't meet the physical quality level of this keyboard. If you'd read older negative amazon reviews about swarm and think they'd probably been fixed by now, you'd be wrong. As of July 18th i confirm that swarm is still messy. I kept playing a lot with it,like exiting, relaunching, changing stuff etc etc. The app bugged out at some point and only solution was to un install and re install again. Basically same thing as other reviewers have past mentioned. Also the updates are quite frequent. That's not necessarily bad IF i didn't have to go through all my wiring each time to find the keyboard usb cable, unplug it and re plug it back again for it to work.Have in mind that the keyboard doesn't have a memory of its own. If you wanna use it without launching swarm, you're stuck with the four illumination presets the keyboard comes with (F1 to F4). So you HAVE to use swarm for your custom setting to apply,EVERY time you boot your PC. Whether you will be doing that manually or through the auto start app when windows start option of the software,is irrelevant (on amazon QnA people say you don't need to load swarm but you DEFINITELY do,one way or another, if you wanna use more than 4 illumination presets).UPDATE: 8 months in, space bar key broke down and doesn't function properly.
