Adds a ton of space depending on how long you get the boards. We got Rubber Maid laminate shelves from Home Depot (White Laminated Wood Shelf 12 in. D x 72 in. L) and those did the trick. Had some left over pieces that were used to make smaller shelves.Metal pieces with screws are included that go underneath the boards to keep them in place.Assembling the bars was a pain at first, but the trick is to keep each piece loose until they are all together and twist them until they are tight afterwards.

Value for the money.These industrial look shelves were so versatile with using them all over the house. Bathroom shelving, pantry shelving, toilet paper spindle, towel bars, towel hooks, robe hooks, curtain rods, and much more. Limited only by my imagination. I loved using rough old planks with tree bark still attached along front side of the shelf’s. I only added vinyl shelf paper to the rough sawn wood shelves.

Bought 2 sets to make large unit. Took a lot of trial and error to install. Had to patch several holes and paint. Needs better install options… like alignment options or how to install all together. Beautiful and strong once installed

We love this shelving that we bought for our FROG (Finished Room Over Garage). Everything was included for assembly, and instructions were easy to follow. My husband bought pine shelving, which he cut to fit the installed pipes, and then stained them.

Our pipe shelves arrived quickly. (We were missing one section of pipe, but after contacting the vendor it was sent and arrived shortly after.) Love this new space and the look it added to our kitchen. And...I priced this out buying it in parts at our local box DIY store. Would have cost 4 TIMES as much, so great value through this vendor!The instructions are online as part of the ad.We connected them as instructed, but laid each section down on a table before adding the next section. This allows you to hold one area in place and push on the bar of the next section with the flange connected; this helps to line each bar up that is going to connect to the wall. We did this with towels underneath to make sure not to harm the table. We placed them on the wall where the studs are located to allow for screwing each flange into the stud. They are there to stay, super sturdy.Remember, they come without shelves but that worked out great for us because we wanted to match our cabinets.

I figured out the remedy for the unaligned joints. I’ll admit that at first I was annoyed, because after the second joint I realized this was going to be an issue. So I put it all together and began loosening the joints to get them all aligned. THIS ISN’T NECESSARY!!! Just lay them all flat on the floor fully assembled. Tighten the joints. When it looks all lopsided and unaligned, put some elbow grease into it, and use your weight to push the bars in alignment. Trust me, there is somehow enough give to easily get them all tight and aligned simply by lying them flat on the floor and working from that angle. Good luck! These are pretty sturdy once you figure that out.

Be aware that this is not the real, heavy gas line pipe you're probably used to. It has half the thickness, half the thread length and threads together rather sloppily. The straps included for shelves are oddly galvanized and don't match anything (I scuffed and painted them). It is still plenty strong and still a great deal. The fittings are powder coated nicely and the wall mount flanges are very heavy. The 10 flanges alone would cost over $50 at a big box store.

Unfortunately I was sent the wrong sizes for the wall brackets. 2/8 came larger than the pipes so I’m not able to install. Hoping the company will send the right pieces.And trying to line up all the pipes was frustrating. I had to leave a couple a little loose but I think it’ll be ok when it’s all installed.The quality is good. Heavy duty.

I purchased this for a Christmas gift and one of the flanges that you mount to the wall is missing its threads so it is totally unusable. Very frustrating considering the price tag.
