What a beautiful eyeshadow palette! (Pippa of London Camden Eyeshadow Palette)I had never heard of Pippa of London before but was curious to try what seemed to be (and indeed from what I can tell is) an upmarket makeup brand.The eyeshadow palette (Camden) is the perfect amped-up basic brown combination you didn't know you needed. The star of the show - indeed it literally glimmers - is the gold colour. It's absolutely breathtaking. It's a tad on the glittery side and definitely not for daily wear (well, depends on your day!) but it's so beautiful. It's like applying gold leaf to your eyes. There is also a more subtle metallic gold for more frequent wear. The other colours are wonderful basics that are not, well, basic. You can use them wet or dry - and I like to use the black colour with a moist brush to use like a smoky eyeliner.Pippa of London is, as you might expect from its name, a UK-based beauty brand. I like how they are really transparent on their website and in promotional materials that they are "almost" Vegan. It shows they are trying and are conscientious about animals yet are still balancing some aspect of product manufacturing or quality control that doesn't quite allow them to be there. Per their website, they describe how "most products" are vegan: "[We are] Cruelty free. We refuse to consider any form of testing on animals. Our entire range meets this standard and most products are also 100% Vegan." So it seems that some of their products are, in fact, vegan, just not all of them, not that all of their products aren't quite vegan. Thought this was interesting, if it matters to you.Overall, the packaging is thoughtful. It's cardboard and lightweight yet not cheap. You get a clear pan liner to help keep the eyeshadow powder safe, and a mirror which is actually a useable size inside. The eyeshadow palette isn't too big and it's not too small - you get a nice amount of each colour. It's small enough to fit in a purse if needed.I'm enjoying using this eyeshadow collection. Can't wait to try out some other Pippa of London products.

I'm not what you would call "huge" into makeup, nor do I wear it on a daily basis, but I do enjoy a nice smoky eye from time to time. I tend to stick with brand names that you find at specialty cosmetic stores and was very excited to give this palette a try. For starters, it has all of the colors I tend to stick with. The warm browns and shimmery colors, along with the classic black, deep purple, and chocolate brown are rich, vibrant, and absolutely stunning on any skin tone.For starters, this palette seems to be pretty highly pigmented and has excellent coverage. I tend to always use an eyeshadow primer, and this did a great job of needing minimal product. It blends together really easily, and the "chunky" gold color is gorgeous to blend with. My makeup stayed on all day, didn't smear, and was easy to remove. I actually got several compliments while wearing it!Overall, this is a fantastic palette, super user friendly, and overall has an excellent value. I wouldn't hesitate to buy it in the future! Very happy with its quality!!

Cette palette est vraiment tout ce que j’aime. Elle reprend les deux tons de couleurs que je porte quotidiennement : les tons roses et les tons bruns.Ce que j’apprécie dans la palette c’est qu’elle combine des fards mates avec des fards irisés ce qui est devenu rare dans les palettes.La palette est petite mais les fards sont de bonnes contenances. 
Les couleurs sont belles et bien pigmentées une fois appliqué.Je recommande cette palette.

La Camden Eyeshadow Palette è stata testata sulla mia compagna in quanto è un'amante del make up da moltissimi anni.La confezione presenta all'esterno i toni del nero su cui spicca il logo di Pippa of London in oro, così da apparire subito accattivante ed elegante.Incarna l'ideale di un prodotto di buon livello, in quanto la cura del dettaglio si percepisce sia nel rivestimento che nelle sue dimensioni contenute e discrete.Internamente è composta da 9 nuanches di ombretti, che sono ideali prevalentemente per occhi nocciola chiari, in particolare per esaltarne le sfumature e le pagliuzzeall'interno.La scelta della cromia dei colori proposta ritengo non sia per nulla casuale, infatti sono tutti perfettamente interscambiabili tra di loro e sono in grado di creare effetti di sfumature a seconda della loro combinazione ed intensità con uno sforzo davvero minimo.I colori "matte" sono molto scriventi, morbidi e leggermente borotalcati, mentre le due versioni "shimmer" (oro e rosa antico), donano un effetto molto sofisticato e raffinato, che deriva proprio dalla sottigliezza dei brillantini che si stendono benissimo, sia con un semplice pennellino sia insistendo nel centrodella palpebra con l'indice, qualora si voglia ottenere un'effetto maggiormente cangiante.Alla prima prova è stata ricreato in pochissimi minuti un "trucco giorno", molto semplice, utilizzando rosa antico (2° in alto) e un bellissimo e caldo terra di Siena (ultimo in basso) per sfumature e un cenno quasi impercettibile di glitterato rosa.Il risultato è molto naturale e la scelta dei "colori inseriti" in palette sapiente, eccetto per il fatto che manca il verde oliva, di cui molte donne sono grandi utilizzatrici e che potrebbe andare a sostituire l'ocra (primo dell'ultima fila) che risulta più adatto ad occhi molto chiari.Successivamente è stato testato un trucco da sera, questa volta con maggior divertimento e osando un pò di più con il tratto.Premetto che il pigmento nero è meraviglioso, si stende benissimo ed è molto intenso.E' stato aggiunto molto oro, matita nera e ovviamente mascara e subito si è riscontrato che la rifrazione dell'oro faceva risaltare moltissimo il giallo dell'iride e questo dipende proprio dalla qualità del "taglio del glitter".Positivo anche il fatto di essere senza parabeni, dermatologicamente approvati e che non siano testati sugli animali.Il costo di € 32,00 (a marzo 2021), vista l'alta qualità del materiale, ne fa un articolo dall'ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo.Davvero ottima anche la tenuta, dove si può tranquillamente affermare di essere ad un livello quasi professionale, che non viene raggiunto neanche dai marchi di lusso più commerciali, tuttavia ci si sarebbe potuti stupire ancor di più favorevolmente se i trucchi non fossero stati completamente inodore (a molte donne piace sentire un profumo molto lieve quando vengono usati).Ho fatto alcune Foto per aiutarvi a capire meglio "dal vivo" come risulta qualora decideste di valutarne l'acquisto.Personalmente non conoscevo questo marchio ma viste le notevoli qualità descritte dalla mia lei, lo consiglio a chi desidera un prodotto di fascia alta ad un prezzo ragionevole, che vi permetterà di ottenere uno sguardo più luminoso oltre che sfumature eccellenti grazie ad un prodotto davvero valido.Spero di esservi stato utile nelle informazioni fornite.

Pippa of London es una marca conocida por sus estándares de calidad, tanto en uso de buenos ingredientes como en conciencia de fabricación. Sus productos no están testados en animales y son aptos para veganos.El formato es una pequeña cajita de cartón duro con 9 colores, un espejo y cierre imantado bastante fuerte. Además viene dentro de una funda de cartón para mayor seguridad. Genial para regalar ya que notas que es una paleta de calidad.Vienen 7 tonos muy ponibles para todos los días, pero también para maquillajes más trabajados si aplicas el negro para un total look o los tonos metalizados. Estos últimos os he probado y quedan con un efecto muy bonito. Lo que más me gusta es que no hay ningún tono que desde el primer vistazo sabes que no vas a gastar nunca.Se aplican muy bien en la piel, incluso sin prebase, cubren mucho se difuminan genial usando un pincel o incluso el dedo. Durán perfectos más de 8 horas y son resistentes al agua. Se quitan genial con un desmaquillador de ojos.El precio, 32€ esta paleta, es el habitual en esta marca... algo cara. Pero si tus productos de maquillaje son contados, y no gastas mucha cantidad, creo que merecen la pena.
