By far the best light I've ever used. I'm 62 years old and have used many styles and types of desk and floor lamps; this lamp surpasses them all with 4 lighting modes with 6 adjustments within the modes. Totally awesome. I use it for reading at my desk, studying, and for diffusing the light from my 27" monitor by aligning it with the left side and running across the top and just anterior to the top of my monitor. I'd not only recommend this lamp, but I was going to buy another and was informed that Amazon didn't know when it was going to be in stock again. If you come across it - BUY IT, you won't be disappointed.

The functions (timer, dimming) and lighting levels are great. The only negative to say is that the USB charging port is located on the back, since it is out of sight, it' out of mind and I forget it is available.

This lamp is perfect for my desk! It was easy to assemble the base. I love the variety of lighting levels. Would highly recommend!! A+++++

I am confused on why it had 5 stars from everyone else. Maybe its because they received it for free, IDK, Anyway, I like that its matt black, I love the size, and all the positions you can place it in. There's only one issue mine won't turn on.

I’d like to write a review based on my extended use of the lamp, but as the lamp came out the box a voice said, “That would be perfect for my office!” and that’s why I can offer only my initial impressions and we have to rely on the report that it’s a great lamp. This is only a slight exaggeration.This is a new category of lamp for me and I like it. The lamp has four hues from yellow (incandescent-like) through white to blue. It also has a built-in dimmer function that, along with choice of hue, all but insures the perfect light for any desktop task.The good news is that the lamp is large. It affords a large amount of light over a large area. The bad news is that the lamp is large. Depending on where the lamp is to be placed, it could easily overwhelm its surroundings. You might take a tape measure and use the measure itself to get a sense of scale where you plan to use it. I plan to get another for my desk since this one is seeing good use elsewhere in the house, but I’ll likely opt for something smaller.I was given a free sample in exchange for my fair and honest review. The five stars here were earned honestly. I don’t award them lightly. Check my other reviews of sample items. There are some 1 star reviews among them. This is one of the few samples I’ve received that I’ll continue to use even after submitting my review.

I have been using the GUANYA 14W Dimmable LED Desk Lamp 10-Level Dimmer with a touch-sensitive control panel while working on my beading projects. I bead with very small seed beads and good lighting helps see the project, especially when I am designing a stitching project. The light helps me see the colors clearly which helps me to get the contrast and blending of colors into a great design. It is handy that I can move it to where I need the light the most. The 10 level dimmer is a plus too in seeing my projects. This lamp is a great addition to my craft room. I have also used it when sewing and doing some mending of an antique quilt where seeing clearly to do tiny stitches made my restoration work nicely. I love this lamp for craft work and reading too.It offers a plug into a regular wall socket and a USB charging port too, so I can use it almost any place I can use my laptop.I received this product for free or at a discount in exchange for an honest review. This lamp is great. Touch controls for brightness and tone. The LED head is long enough to reach out over my desk. This lamp is so much better than others that I looked at. The base is nice and heavy so that the lamp won't tip over when the arms are extended. I am really satisfied with this lamp.
