This is a good gift for the person who doesn’t really need anything else. It’s similar to those last-minute presents like a beard trimmer or body wash gift basket but it’s useful enough and of good enough quality that it works. I bought this for a messy spouse and it’s excellent for their night stand, keeping things where they can be found easily and looking sharp. It came fully assembled.The wood is actually solid as far as I can tell (not posterboard) and it has some weight to it. Looks nice.I wish it was $10 cheaper or so, I didn’t really feel like it was worth $40 but I needed a gift.

I bought this as a birthday gift for a friend. It's very nice and he liked it.

Pieces fit together tightly which was very reassuring since it is wooden. I used a few gentle taps with the hammer to assemble the two largest pieces and once the screw was in, it felt very secure! This was the perfect addition to a bedside table.

Bought this for my husband and put it together for him as a surprise. I love how easy and quick it was. Its sturdy and imo good quality..my only issue I have and I'm nit picking, is I feel like the peg to hold rings should be screwed in as well or some with some adhesive to hold it. Like I said, nit picking. Love this!!!

Great gift!!!! Perfect size for a night stand! I will say when you put it together have some wood glue just to really tighten some of the parts down. But it is definitely worth the money!
