Good Quality and Sound at an affordable price
Purchased a pair initially to replace broken stock Apple iPod earbuds and have been very pleased with the audio quality. Using the earbuds on Android LG4 with DTS:X 3D they sound even better than on the Apple iPod delivering full rich bass and clear high end. Other reviews have mentioned discomfort from the weight of the earbuds being pulled down by weight of the cables. This was resolved by routing the cables behind each ear before placing the ear buds inside the ear. One word of caution: After a few weeks of use, I noticed the silver barrels can rotate - Do NOT Rotate them as this will cause the barrel to come loose from the connecting cable. Lastly, when removing from ear, grasp the silver barrel - not the black plastic part with ALTEC logo - to prevent breakage.

Disappointing
The jack keeps unseating slightly in 3 different phones where multiple other headsets do not have this problem. I believe the jack itself is too short. Even when fully inserted/seated (keeping pressure on it with my thumb), the audio is noticeably thin and tinny. I have two stock Samsung headsets that produce far better sound. I was expecting much better for the price and reviews on this item.I gave 2 stars because I do like the length of the cord and how it doesn't tangle. That part works, but I can't use this because of the above problems.

Great Brand/Great Sound
I really like these earbuds. I had a pair last for years and now I have a set to use AND a set to gift. The only con - and a minor con- is the volume slider. It can be a pain sometimes but I rarely use it anyway. Good seller who shipped very quickly.
