Q: does any one know if there’s a cap that will fit the black end of this?

I don't believe one is available. What i did was purchase a small plastic container that this will fit in then when i am through using it i just put it in the container and snap the lid closed. That keeps everything neet, clean and dry.

Q: Will this work in 3” or 4” pipe with out the hub? Meaning no threads

It would fit in the pipe without any problem but not having any threads inside the pipe will not allow it to seat and seal properly.

Q: whats the length when it is fully collapsed?

Approximately 6-3/4'' collapsed.

Q: Will this fit into a portable tank?

It should fit if it has a 3, 3 1/2 or 4 inch hole.
