Pandemia: How Coronavirus Hysteria Took Over Our Government, Rights, and Lives

Berenson makes a persuasive case for less governmental mandates and hygienic theater
Berenson makes a persuasive case for less governmental mandates, hygienic theater and unscientific, nonsensical, authoritarian public policies. He supports his arguments with real, concrete, scientific research. While deeply unpopular with most corporate media, liberal organizations and supporters, Berenson arrives at his controversial opinions primarily using data published from universally respected and publicly available sources for widely accepted scientific evidence. His analysis is compelling, but some of his conclusions are still fairly debatable. A few minor points with valid reasons to question or disagree with the author definitely should not generate the "disinformation" label that has been a ubiquitous critique amongst his detractors and msm pundits.

A clear eyed look at a world in chaos
I received my book yesterday and can’t put it down!Alex has been a data based & evidence based reporter that I have learned to trust and verify during the last two years. He backs up his story with footnote references so that the reader can do their own DD. Everyone should read this book. Learn the data.

A must read for those who have been awake since the beginning or are just waking up now!
A must read for those who have been awake since the beginning or are just waking up now!Having thought much about the facts covered in this book myself as far back as April 2020, and still waiting for the great Covid reckoning, the truths outlined can be somewhat frustrating and painful read. I have great appreciation for what the author has done and is doing. It is because of Alex Berenson and the very few others who truly did follow the science that my sanity was saved in 2020. I don’t necessarily agree with all that is written however this book overflows with investigative journalism at its very best. The list includes Martin Kulldorff, John Ioannidis, Sunetra Gupta, Jay Bhattacharya, Carl Heneghan, Vinay Prasad and many others. It’s a strange and weird experience being surrounded by oddly superstitious and cult-like covid ‘believers’ dutifully following media distortions and public officials lies. The book brings hope that somehow the freedom of thought and critique essential to western democracy is, despite this insanity, still functional.

The Truth and nothing but the truth.
"Just the facts, ma'am." Berenson is relentlessly honest, detailed and meticulous. On the personal level, if you've had the jab(s), at least you will know what to look out for. If you haven't had the jab(s) you will know that there are many effective alternatives. On the societal level one may hope that the fraud and corruption exposed here will be dealt with by those in power so as to avoid this sort of mass carnage in the future.Thank you Alex for daring to speak the truth🙏

REINSTATE ALEX BERENSON
You all have to get this book. Alex was "cancelled" for telling the truth about covid. This book brings it all together. Alex does his best to bring the truth to the table with extensive research. He may be the last real investigative journalist, while the media giants have tried to censor his speech. Buy this book so when everything online is taken down you will have a physical copy. Also thanks to substack Alex is able to keep content coming out. SO subscribe to Unreported Truths substack and support the work this man has been doing!

Powerful, frightening book!
There are very few honest truth tellers left. Alex is one of them. He meticulously follows the truth wherever it leads, even if it’s painful to those in power. He was cancelled by most of Social Media for reporting what was then affirmed weeks later. This book is eye-opening but also an easy read.

Something to annoy everyone
I hadn't heard of Alex Berenson until recently, when I discovered his substack writings. (I don't do Twitter.) I like what I have read from him on substack. So I eagerly anticipated this book, and bought it on the day of its release. The opening is compelling, and I especially resonate with the lead sentence "how media hysteria, political partisanship, overreliance on unproven technoloty, and scientific illiteracy brought the Unites States and the world to the brink of breakdown."The first section of the book, about how the "pandemic" unfolded in the early days of 2020, is a competent, if rambling, overview of events & background. But the book soon shows its true self as Alex Berenson's pandemic memoir, with the theme of how Alex Berenson was the sole voice of truth in those early days and since - a lonely but intrepid traveller walking the fine line between the mainstream narrative true believers, and the conspiracy theorists. And how he suffered from censorship for this (hardly a lone case, with all the most thoughtful YT channels and FB pages I followed disappearing one by one over 2020 & since). There is some inconsistency in his presentation of the medical issues, perhaps understandable in someone with obviously no medical or science background, but jarring all the same. For example, Berenson accepts Fauci as AIDS saviour at Fauci's own self-evaluation, with no mention of Fauci's funding rackets & empty promises about working on an AIDS vaccine. Yet he dismisses claims about "long covid", and throws in a few swipes at conditions such as fibromylagia, chronic fatigue, and Lyme disease, with a jaw-dropping assumption that Medicine would now understand these conditions if they were real. (He is right though in drawing attention to the exploitation of these conditions, including "long covid", by Big Pharma and their minions.)The politicisation of pandemic response in the US is another ongoing theme - and again, this is a good & mostly accurate overview with the rants quite justified (but perhaps not so relevant to non-US readers like myself). Spoiler alert: both Trump and Biden get slammed (mostly appropriately). If you are interested in coverage of the vaccine debacle, you won't find much of it here (Berenson hints at another book about this). However, he does include some overview material, distancing himself from the anti-vaxxers as well as the vax worshippers while once again portraying himself as the sole voice of truth and reason. If you are an Alex Berenson fan, you probably won't mind the Berenson-centric focus of most of this book, and Berenson has certainly covered a lot of ground & includes a lot of good, factual information about the events of the last 2 years. Apart from his dogmatic medical statements (coming from someone with obviously no medical or science background, he should stick to a somewhat less arrogant tone) his research seems pretty good, and there is nothing of substance that I would disagree with. The best part of this book in my opinion is the excellent documentation of the damage from the lockdowns in the US, together with contextualising the damage from the virus itself (which has been way overhyped by the media). This by itself makes the book a worthwhile purchase.I'll continue to follow Alex Berenson on substack. I won't be buying his next book, though.

Devastating indictment of lies, scaremongering & profiteering
I’ve read a few books about the pandemic and this one is in a different league from most others. It’s a devastating account of the political, public health & media response to COVID-19 since early 2020, focusing on the US, but of immense relevance to UK readers.I don’t think anyone could read it without their eyes being opened to the scale of the dishonesty that surrounds us; media scaremongering, Government lies, naked political opportunism, failed ‘modelling’, incurious and sidelined legislatures, censorship, business profiteering, the destruction of children’s educations and futures, and the dismantling of all that makes human societies function and individual lives fulfilling- social bonds, the arts, free discussion, and civil liberties. If you have children, you should read it: because unless we change track radically they’re going to be living in a frightening, unfree and dangerous world, censored and exploited by the most rapacious and corrupt businesses ever produced by capitalist economies. Knowledge is the start of liberation; and this book is a great starting point for knowledge.

Most important book written about Covid-19
Once again Alex Berenson has proven to be one of the few clear, rational and informed voices amongst the Covid confusion. This book clearly outlines just how damaging the global governments' reactions to Covid-19 have been to the public's health and sanity. Using facts from widely available public sources, Alex details just how skewed the mainstream media has been in covering Covid for the past 18 months and just how much governments and pharmaceutical companies have used this opportunity to expand their reach and control over the public. Thanks Alex, please keep up the vital good work of being the voice of reason in the crowd!!

A concise history of the most significant public travesty our world has ever encountered.
At this time I have only read the opening paragraphs of most chapters and picked out a number of other excerpts including Mr Berenson's concluding and acknowledging chapters. The book surpasses my expectations. I am familiar with the history of Covid 19 and the public response our political leaders and their medical advisors have forced on us. I am also an individual that has strongly disagreed with what has taken place in that, from the start the citizens have never been treated as having the ability think objectively about their own well-being. Every thing that has been done has been mandated and human freedom discarded. This book recognizes what has happened and the author fully understands the dire consequences of relinquishing our freedom will have on a stable, prosperous society. A dictatorship, even one that professes to be benevolently concern with public health spells disaster. Can we re-establish a society that seeks informed consent, a society that strives to persuade rather than dictate public affairs? Can we recognize that our future does depend on our willingness to fight to reclaim a freedom lost because we panicked? Mr Berenson has laid out the case ...I urge everyone to take his words seriously.

First draft of the REAL history
After 2 years of being constantly lied to by hysterical media and floundering governments this book is a superb, well written and very readable break down of what happened. If you want to truly understand how our world was turned upside down I'd recommend this. Its one of the books I'll try and bring to the concentration camp with me.
