Comfortable, stable, great remote, attractive, easy to use, good water pressure.
Overall a great product and value. My family had 3 Toto washlets from the early 2000s that all lasted more than 20 years with daily use (2 finally died, one is still going), so going back to a Toto was an easy decision. the build quality is not the same as it once was, but the price is literally half of what I paid over 20 years ago, so a lesser build quality was inevitable and I’m ok with it even if I get half as long a life as I did on the old units. Great remote that is easy to use after a quick read of the manual, and lots of features and options. The unit is easy to install - no plumber required and I was able to get it on in about 45 mins and I’m slow at assembling things. It sits on the bowl in a stable way which I’m mentioning since my old unit would slip off narrower bowls (which might have more to do with the toilet design and not the Toto). I suppose it could snap the fastening cradle if a heavier person leaned to one side on a narrow bowl and the unit slips off to the side. Also, compared to my old unit I would say there is a little more wiggling in the cradle that fastens it to the bowl. Pretty sure I have screwed it in tightly enough, so I’m assuming it’s the product’s design. This isn’t a big concern, just something to be aware of. It is comfortable to sit on, but one thing to note: The top lid pretty much sits straight up. This means you really can’t lean all the way back to the tank. However, the sides of this lid are designed so they come to a sharp enough edge that it could potentially irritate your arms if they were to rub against the lid (see pic). It’s never been an issue, but if you somehow used the unit differently than me, I suppose it could be bothersome. It’s a design flaw - no way to know in advance, it’s just something you’d have to try for yourself and see how it goes. The unit is more attractive than my old one with a slightly slimmer and lower profile and a nice bright white color. Lastly, the water pressure. At full throttle, I would say the pressure is about 80% as strong as my old unit. It’s more than acceptable for all levels of hygiene, but it’s worth pointing out in case high pressure is your preference. The pressure specs according to the user manual are the same for all Toto units, so if you’re really into a high pressure stream, you’d have to do some brand shopping. So a couple of small design points, but overall a great product and value.

TRADITIONAL OLD SCHOOL QUALITY IN A DISCONTINUED MODEL.
TOTO has greatly expanded its range of models which makes it confusing to make a choice. I focused on core features like regular and soft spray, pulsating and oscillating spray, continuous warm water, 5 position wand and pressure settings, and a clean, streamlined appearance without a radically sloping or curved seat cover. This one checked all the boxes and when I received it I immediately saw the same old-school quality as in my 13 yr old model. I see that TOTO has discontinued this model and I'm glad I bought it before they are sold out. The appearance is very low-key and doesn't scream bidet. I prefer traditional quality with a very nice functional remote over whistles and bells like bowl lights and large complicated, difficult to use remotes that others have complained about. The extra cost was definitely worth it.

Luxury toilet experience
I was looking at upgrading to an electric bidet for a while, and Toto seems to be the best brand. I chose this model because it has unlimited hot water instead of a hot water tank that empties quickly. The bidet was much easier to install than much cheaper bidets, no fiddling with electrical tape at all. The toilet had to have the water shut off, tank drained with a couple of flushes, and then unscrew the water line and put it into the T-connector, screw the other line into the T-connector and then plug it in. The seat comes with secure metal screws, not cheap plastic ones and the washlet slides right into the screws, there is no movement while on the seat. The features work amazing, there is a heated seat, energy saving mode which turns off the heated seat and walk up feature if you’re gone for a while or overnight, and it is easy to clean and remove for cleaning under the seat. It’s only missing a toilet nightlight, but this isn’t a deal breaker for me.

Beats the (dated) Brondell Swash 1000 or 1400
Looks great and high in quality / value. After 5yrs using our first washer seat, a Brondell Swash 1000, and being very pleased with it, the seat cracked exactly in the back middle with a growing, pinching (ouch) gap. We're both well less than 200 pounders, LOL, and it was installed in our personal, main suite bathroom, our kids are grown and so just us 2 adults that used it. We even kept the seat settings always at lowest heat setting and in Eco Save mode, so it cannot be from degradation from long term high heat exposure, either. After 5 years, we almost rebought the 1000 and even looked at the 1400 Brondell model, but the pics and reviews online showed these models have this seat crack as a known latent defect and reportedly Brondell acting difficult about handling it as such (an epidemic defect that's out of warranty). Also, water leaks reportedly, commonly emerging as units age (although fixable with the YouTube videos out there) was concerning. I'd like to point out the basic functionality here was a "seat" first and foremost, and frankly the expensive Brondell built basic seat functionality failed miserably! Disappointed, we started shopping around ... We previously bought a Toto Neorest washer as a part of a full replacement potty unit ($$$) when doing our second bath's remodel last year because it looked so cool (looks like a big egg). It was expensive, but we were determined to have style and a washer type unit after being sold on the concept by our first Brondell Swash 1000 add-on seat experience. We love the Toto Neorest. So now that we were forced to re-shop for our main bathroom this time, Brondell was a natural, cost effect and darn good add-on solution again to just fix it or possibly replace the seat. BUT, after 5 yrs it was aging and looked it. When replacing and with a few more dollars, the competitive Toto K300, along with our added prior Toto experience, and the online reports of Brondell quality and service issues, we decided to make the leap to go Toto washers for both bathrooms. After the easy replacement install (wall electrical outlet already existing from the Brondell unit) and seeing the difference in quality (design and materials) side by side (Brondell Swash1000 and Toto K300), we also experienced what we first thought would be a less effective, more soft-cleaning (comfort) performance than what the Swash 1000 produced (or even the Toto Neorest). After using several times, we wrongly doubted its performance and now very glad we made the Toto choice again with the K300. Somehow, the Toto K300 manages to clean better and seemingly more easily (less harsh spray) than the Brondell Swash 1000 (would typically use full force to get spotlessly clean) or even its Toto big brother, big buck, Neorest (it is less harsh in capability than the Brondell, and more like the K300 in experience, but Neorest also is somehow not as a complete in clean experience - and we always paper check!). Surprisingly, this K300 best overall performance comes along and beats a similar, cost competitive, easy install, add-on unit like the Brondell Swash as well as the fully optioned Toto Neorest total potty unit we first bought ($$$)! Note Brondell's Swash 1000 and Swash 1400 models are built on the same design platform and use the same parts, including the latent defect seat, which is why I threw the 1400 into this review. Bottom line, spend the few dollars more and buy the Toto K300 for its looks, quality and performance. Toto K300 looks sleeker, lower, leaner and more modern than the Brondell Swash 1000 and 1400 and goes about performing "the job" better. Although not U.S.A. built, the Toto is marked as made in Malysia, and not China. As initially expected with the Brondell, subsequently sent to the trash bin, we certainly do not expect our Toto seat(s) to crack no matter how old they get and will update if that ever happened.

Product arrived on time in excellent condition. Excellent product. Absolutely love it. Does everything it says in the description. Water is always warm - no initial cold spray as pointed out by some. Warm dryer air will take a long time to do the job and you will use some toilet paper to finish drying. True of all bidets. Note - If you have a skirted toilet, you will need a 7/8” to 7/8” TOTO extension (available on Amazon) for connecting the tee to the water supply. Easy install.

One month in an I have found this product to be extremely effective. I am not sure exactly how it works (does not seem intuitive) and do not care. I am very happy to be toilet paper free, except for drying. It is great to go through the day with the corn hole feeling ‘fresh from the shower’. In hindsight one of the cheaper models might have sufficed, I probably don’t need unlimited water and the slimmer profile. I will probably put cheaper models in all the other toilets in our home. I am somewhat concerned about whether I can take one on vacation. Not sure if it will fit in my suitcase..

This is a high end bidet. It truly has continuous warm water. We have two other Toto bidets but they only have warm water for about 20 seconds. Fits our elongated toilet well too. Wish we had bought this model for all of our bidets. Has many other features like other bidets too.

Have been using it now for several months. Easy to install. Great functions and the remote has all the functions you need. Couldn't be happier.

I waited a few weeks before submitting my review to make sure I was satisfied with this model. After reading a lot of reviews I am glad I spent a bit more money on the tankless model. It also comes with the proper “T” fitting to hook up the plumbing to the water supply line. I did have to install a GFI outlet near the toilet ( as shown in the picture). The bolts seemed too small for my American Standard toilet but after talking to a Toto tech , they said to flip the rubber grommet upside down and that worked fine.
