Works and feels great
chair was shipped promptly and good communication from Freight service on coordinating delivery. overall it was wrapped and protected very well in a box on a pallet. The chair is heavy (145 lbs so factor that into your personal situation. I unboxed and set up myself (did not use white glove set up option) so cant rate that . Chair works and looks as advertised on website and is very comfortable. This is our second one from Golden and they have been trouble free.

Recommend Trying b4 Buying
I purchased the Golden Technologies PR535L from a medical supply store listed on the Golden Technologies website, because I did need delivery and scheduled set up. However, I am severely physically disabled and housebound, so I was not able to try it out before purchase and delivery. I relied on reviews for GT lift chairs and specs for my personal needs. The PR535L is recommended for 5’10+ height, and I am closer to 5’8 to 5’9. But I wanted the extra 2 inches in seat width only available on the L model. That might be the reason for my main problem with the chair. My head rests on the fattest part of the memory foam style cushioning which has started to cause strain in my neck and shoulders. I am still trying out solutions for neck support.Otherwise I am pretty happy with the chair. The low back support is much better than the one I replaced, I like the wider choice of positions and programmable position buttons. All the buttons on the remote look a bit intimidating at first, but I caught on quick, and it is really pretty user friendly after playing with it for a few minutes. The arms are set and sturdy for pushing off when I need to stand. So far the motors are pretty quiet and smooth.I got a basic fabric rather than the upcharged materials. It looks and feels nice. But unlike my other chair, the foam upholstery retains some heat. I might buy a bamboo fabric cover to see if I can mitigate the heat retention. The Brisa upgrade is supposedly a cooler option, but the chair is already so expensive, I couldn’t justify another $720 just for a different material.
