and they were always excellent. These pots were terrible
I have returned this pot and the three other Le Creuset pots I bought. I have used LeCreuset stainless steel pots for many years, and they were always excellent. These pots were terrible. When I called Le Creuset to complain, the customer service representative admitted that these pots were not manufactured the way the old pots were. They are much lighter. They discolored immediately, even though I handled them no differently than the pots I had before. Food stuck to them, and they were almost impossible to clean. These pots are extremely expensive and are most definitely not even close to being worth the price. I bought some Cook's Standard pots which were far cheaper and much better than these ridiculously overpriced pieces of junk.
