What does this have that holds on to the wig to keep it from moving or sliding?

Firstly the closure is Velcro which provides a snug fit. The exterior material is velour type of material for some reason the wig hugs onto. I had issues with wig not falling off, but moving to one side or back. With this band the edges of the wig are more secure. I have worn wigs and hair pieces since I was 5 years old and I'm 65. This wig grip I have found works best for no wig movement. Truthfully why the wig holds onto the material makes no sense but it works. Try it you'll like it, and if you don't Amazon has amazing return policy. Good Luck

I just have fine straight hair bangs, would this be better than a wig cap for a wig with bangs?

Absolutely! These are the best bands for a secure fit. They are a soft, but cool microfiber with an adjustable Velcro closure on the back. You can also use them for holding slippery decorative scarves and headbands. I also use snap clips I got from Walmart as my own personal extra security on the wig headband due to my own head shape. Wig caps have never worked on me, and ALWAYS slide off as I too have fine thin hair. They are easy to hand wash, which I do when I shampoo my wigs and hang up to dry.

will this fit a very large -24inch - head?

Will this hold on my wig while riding motorcycle
