The Freedom of Naturism: A Guide for the How and Why of Adopting a Naturist Lifestyle Paperback – February 2, 2015

This is a great overview of nudism and naturism. As a committed advocate of the Christian nudist and naturist ideal, I find that the principles espoused for the benefits of a life without clothes and the picture of a nudist life are accurate, both from study and experience. It is important to remember that our first ancestors: Adam and Eve, were created by God naked and unashamed, that sin caused the first endeavors at making clothes, and that there is nothing, biblically, wrong with simple nudity. Therefore, I find this book a refreshing read and assessment of things. I highly recommend it to all considering entering the nudist, or Christian Nudist, lifestyle, recreationally, or devotionally.

I liked the book as an overview of the naturist/nudist lifestyle. I have been an off and nudist since I was a child. Usually out of sight of family. My wife knew I was a nudist. I am nude when the family members are at work.

I was used to read books on lifestyle and the concepts about naturism and nudity. But when I read this book about what naturism is and to read about the beautiful idea of naturism I was so influenced. We always get bizarre vision of everyone on naturists; this book is very helpful to be thoughtful about the real and beautiful concept of naturism. Book reveals all the mysterious concepts about naturism and nudity and the concept that how the naturist lifestyle holds a freeing and empowering choice for many people. If truth to be told I was so engaged as I read through it because the author of this book is well-informed about the theme of Naturism and it gave me so much valuable information. I really love the section on “Modesty” because it expressed the modesty in different ways that how lifestyles are dependent on person’s beliefs and how they influenced by diverse social norms that are differ by country and culture.

A very basic introduction that will help answer questions only if you are totally new to the subject. Do not expect a book, this is more like a paper or essay that can easily be read in an hour. More over, the wording and print is so spaced out it could be combined into a very brief pamphlet. If I were you save the $10 and do a simple Google search, it would yield more information.

This is an excellent book to dispel all the lies about Naturist 's. It will reveal to you the lies you have learned. Nudity is natural and exhilarating. You were born naked and free. Return to your roots

This book helps those who don't understand the lifestyle and the ideas and concepts of what naturist and nudists are about. For anyone who is curious or looking for information check it out. I highly recommend

Although the book (write-up is a better word) offers a few interesting insights that may be new to some and covers fairly well the discussion about nudism vs naturism, it is also far from complete, it doesn't cover well the FKK movement or the history and origins, and in reality rarely lifts itself above any webpage on naturism. Well, that's was my impression.
