Great for kids and adults!
Our son loves history and geography, asks us a hundred different geopolitical questions a day.. and he’s 8! I’ve had my eye on this book for awhile now but when he started asking questions I knew this book touched on, I decided it was time to order and I’m so glad I did! He absolutely loves the book! It is incredibly interesting, looks amazing (the illustrators did a terrific job), and the best part is that we’re all learning while enjoying a good book! So many questions he’s had are answered in it and he will just sit and read a few pages that interest him or look at the maps and walk away with even more knowledge to impress others with. We homeschool so it’s a great resource but anyone could get something from this book. Can’t recommend enough!

Thick + high-quality pages, engaging for all ages!
I got this to supplement my kids' homeschool curriculum (K and 3rd grade) and I am so pleased with it! I have not read the actual book that this one is based-off of, but I find this to be very well-thought out and accessible for all ages! It's been a great tool and reference point for my kids to learn about world geography and general world history. The large maps and illustrations make it accessible for my kindergartener, and the in-depth text is great for my 3rd grader to go more into detail on each country/region's history. As a lover of history, I have learned a lot myself!

AMAZING resource!! Great to use with the original version!!
This is one of my favorite homeschool resources! My 10th grader has been reading thought Prisoner of Geography for homeschool. I purchased this as a visual to go alongside his reading and I am so glad that I did! I know it's catered to the younger students, but it really helped our visual learning family to get a better grasp on what we are reading!! It's laid out very well, the illustrations are delightful and easy to understand. I appreciate the facts and information in the book as well as the graphic layout and presentation of the material. This should be on every homeschool, school, and parents' bookshelf!! Especially with all of the different countries in our news cycle right now, this is a great tool to use alongside a map or globe to show children/students where places are in our world, their borders and boundaries and why they may be allies/or at odds with those around them.

Beautiful book
I absolutely love this book. I initially bought it for my grandkids but I'm actually the one reading it. They are too young to really get it yet, but I have actually learned some stuff from it. It's fascinating.
