Classic gold ball studs
Classic gold ball earrings with screw back. The screw backs are very small and can be a bit of a challenge but that's not a showstopper.

Love these!
I have not worn earrings in years (mostly because of the pandemic and a “why bother” attitude). I have never had any that I could just leave in and forget about because of being stabbed at night while trying to sleep.I found these and thought I’d give them a try. I LOVE them. They are easy to put in as long as you take your time because the backs are very small. But they are worth the time. I ended up buying three pair overall (I have holey ears). The backs don’t come off. They are very comfortable to wear. I don’t notice them at all while sleeping. I take them out maybe every few months to clean them. I assume they’re gold (they do have the usual stamp for it). They don’t irritate my ears for the metal or for leaving them in all the time.

Secure, comfortable, nickle free, excellent quality earrings
These simple gold ball earrings are a great solution to my decades of pierced ear problems! I'm 56 and have had trouble keeping my pierced holes open ever since they were done over 30 years ago. I am allergic to nickle and have trouble wearing heavy earrings or sterling for very long so I always take my earrings out when I come home. Thus my holes are never easy to thread the post through and often get infected. I've tried wearing regular 14k posts with a variety of backings. Even the pink soft foam type were uncomfortable to sleep on because I could feel the post through the backing. I also kept loosing the backing while sleeping. These earrings are finally a solution for me. The screw backings are softly rounded and I can't feel them when I sleep on them at night. The posts are long enough to be comfortable, but not too long. The 14K gold does not cause me any allergic reactions. They are light weight so I don't feel the weight of them yet they don't feel flimsy. The best part is that they never fall out so you can't easily loose them. The screw backing securely stays in plays for days without any issues. I've not lost one yet! I bought the 5mm and found the size to be a discrete adult size. Not so large that the weight of the balls sags downward on my old earlobes, but not so small that they look cheap or out of proportion. The screw backings are small so I purchased a second set of backings in case I ever loose one. However, they are not so tiny that my mildly arthritic hands can't handle screwing them on. I like these so much that I've purchased a second pair with a cubic. I highly recommend them.

Very nice, posts are a little long
I bought these for my wife to wear to sleep in. She wanted something that would not poke into her head since she is a side sleeper.I decided on these since the back is a comfort back and screws on. Since she has sensitive ears that react with stainless posts, we wanted gold posts as well. These earrings met all our requirements at a really good price. Her only complaints are the posts are a little long for her ear lobes, and the backs are tiny and can be difficult to start on the posts.

Not hypoallergenic
These are NOT hypoallergenic. My ears are swollen, bruised and infected.

Do not buy - post is TOO LONG, causing it to hang out of your ear.
Do not purchase these earrings - the posts are entirely too long for a human ear, leaving the earring itself dangling out of your earring hole instead of flush against your ear. The ball itself is beautiful, but if you're walking around looking like your earring is falling out of your ear all the time, then you've bought an unsatisfactory pair of earrings. Photo attached. I will be refunding these immediately.

Pretty and good value - had to change backing to fit
very nice - just what I wanted. I like the screw post, however it would have been better for the screw threads to go further up the post. I was not able to screw them securely against my lobe. I don't think my earlobes are particularly thin, either. I had to use different (regular) backs.Update: less than two months and one earring already broke. I was wearing one to replace a missing earring so I had the other one to press into service. I hope the break was a fluke and the other one lasts longer.
