How long is the strap?

It's long enough u can control it how long u want it .. and the quality of this strap perfect, when I received it I never expected the touch how soft silky touch .. just perfect .. u don't need to be worried about the size just perfect .

Do it come with companion wallet?

No it does not come with companion wallet.

Does the alligator one have a belt harness on the back for strapping it through and threading it through on my belt?

No it does not. It does have D rings on the sides for the shoulder strap to go thru. You could conceivably add an additional ring to each side (D ring) that could attach to your belt. Provided they were wide enough to accommodate your belt. It is a great bag! Would buy it again in a heartbeat.
