LEETOYI Porcelain Mortar and Pestle, Ceramic Herb Grinder Pill Crusher Set (4.2-inch)

I had a cheap herb grinder where you twist it to grind and found it some hassle to try to clean it and use without a mess. I figured I'd try something more simple like this pestle and mortar. Most people probably associate this with Rx and pharmacies in-general, but a pestle and mortar is a pretty iconic item in the video game Runescape (more-so Old School nowadays) for grinding herbs for crafting valuable potions. I took some organic Lavender flower out of a bag, put it into the pestle, ground it down with the mortar easily, and proceeded to load it into a dry-herb vaporizer. I had a limited use in-mind when buying this initially, but I can see it being useful for more than that with food and other herbs. The 3-inch is realistically ok and I probably won't bother buying a new one unless this one somehow breaks or gets lost, but I'd love to try a much larger one like the comicially full-hand sized one in OSRS eventually :p

Grinds just about anything you will need grinded. Good quality and packaged very well. Also very easy to clean.

We got this to ground up mockingbird food for a baby hummingbird we were caring for for a few days. We started with a rolling pin while we waited for this to arrive and that was rather hard. When this finally arrived, my kids did all the work for me grinding up the seed and bugs (yes, bugs) and this just made it so easy for them to help out. It was easier for me too! Much better for grinding small things than a rolling pin lol.

This is an outstanding small mortar and pestle, great for grinding up medication tablets into a a bit of water (check with your doctor, this is not OK to do for all medications). The shape of the well at the bottom of the mortar is better than my old one, less flat, making it easier and faster to grind up the tablets as the ground-up pieces settle to the bottom.

Perfect size. Easy to clean.

I have extensive experience using mortar and pestle sets from my time studying chemistry. I bought this for spices and it almost completely meets my expectations. My only complaint is the the grinding surface of the pestle isn't perfectly round--it has flat facets--which slightly slows the grinding action.

Para moler especias en pequeñas cantidades es una maravilla

El mortero es pequeño pero muy útil, el problema es que la mano del mortero es demasiado pequeña, se muele con los dedos y es difícil, por lo demás llegó perfecto y los materiales si son de porcelana.
