If you convert your mobility scooter to use the longer service life, more reliable LiFePO4 batteries, you will need a special (slightly higher voltage) charger to maintain them. I chose this one for its output current, it has a cooling fan, and the moderate price. It has worked just fine to initially charge the batteries, but only time will tell if I made a good choice, but that is true about most any electronic devise.

This is the third purchase. I take care of three scooters and keeping up with batteries and chargers has always been a constant battle. Changing to li-ion once they became available at a reasonable price has been an incredible improvement. Betteries are much lighter, probably 1/3 that of the lead acid's. The Lithium batteries are lasting far beyond the lead acid lifespan. I am close to two years on a set now and no signs of degredation. Finding these chargers after having several cheaper models go bad has been great. I see I orded one just last year at this time. This new one is to replace one of the old wimpy ones that would not bring back life into a dead battery pair. I mean dead, zero volts was showing. This charger woke up the inside protection of the batteries and they are ready for more action. But the charger that was used on this pair of batteries does not go as high and just would not wake up a dead Lithium with protection built in apparently.

After a fast charge and a 2 day rest plugged it in and the light is still green. It does shut off after a full charge.

Great Product as Manufacturing prescribes great design cooling Charger. Since I am tried and wasted money to buy the AMG Type sealed lead-acids battery. They do not less long only 10 moths of (AGM type) Sealed Lead-Acid battery. So I am decide to replace the Lithium batteries for my mobility scooter. So I am looking a Fast Charging for my Lithium batteries for my Mobility Scooter. This YZPower Lithium Battery Charger, it works efficiency and great design cooling Charger system. I am recommend to anyone to purchase this YZPower 24V Lithium Battery Charger. Enough output 29.4 Voltage at 5A. Great Value and Excellent Product!

I used this to charge a 7s lipo battery. I just cut off the cord and replaced it with an XT60. I have no idea how many amps it charges at - certainly more than 2 or 3 from what I can tell. The constant voltage stops at a little below 29.4, like 29.32. That is a little frustrating because my BMS balances at 4.2 volts, so the cells aren't exactly equal. But, can't complain.
