Note, the black part of this pen, the part that you actually hold, is quite deep and that makes all the difference in the comfortable use of this pen. My previous pen had a shorter grip and was somewhat ‘joyless’. That, combined with super finish to the body just makes this a nice thing to own and use. I use it daily.

Beautiful looking, correctly weighted and well-balanced pen. The Fine Point Black refill has thin lines (0.5mm?). The ink flow is excellent, and dries quickly. One can write on thin (70gsm paper) without completely showing through. But the point is a little scratchy.The advertised box for the pen was supplied, making the item presentable as a gift. Phew!Parker Sonnet is an elegant shape, and this item looks like a pen. At Black Friday price, the user is very pleased!

This is just a great pen! My first one of these was pocketed by someone who went “oh, great pen”. I was so annoyed. Anyway I wracked my brains as to what the brand was, that I’d bought - remembered/found this and bought my second. Recently also gifted it to someone for Christmas. I’m no geek - but this is a geek beautiful pen.

Bought as birthday present, only regret, wish I'd waited a few days as it went down £10. Was so cross, if they can sell it cheaper why not start it at cheaper price. Teach me to wait.
