Q: I see the extra mounting bar is offered separately, so is there no way to attach it to this bike without buying it separately?

The mounting bar is included with the i Bert. You can purchase extra mounting bars if you want to use the seat on multiple bikes.

Q: My child is 7 months old. Is he to young for this?

I put my little guy in it at 6 months old but I progressed him slowly. I made sure he had good head control while wearing his helmet first. Then I tested him out around the block and then to the park three blocks away. We progressed to a gentle ride over to the river, about a mile or 2 away, when he was about 8 months. He started crying on the way back which I took as a sign he was uncomfortable. I have a hybrid bike and my tires are closer to road tires then mountain and therefore have less give. The bumpy city streets certainly rattle the set up. Since then he’s all smiles and laughter when we ride. My favorite part is now that he’s 2 years old we get to chat while we ride! Mostly singing songs and me pointing the geese or the setting sun out to him. It’s good to connect with him!

Fits most children 1-4 years old and weighing up to 38 poundsFits most bikes, only needing 3/4" on the steering tubeThe safe-T-seat will fit on some road bikes. There needs to be a minimum of 13 inches between the drops for the seat to fit between.

Q: Does this fit a men's beach cruiser?

it fits my women's beach cruiser so yes it should be perfect
